Basic, but fine.
Diarmuid Don 12/01/2017 21:58Had a very brief stay here; less than twelve hours. The bedroom was basic but clean, as was the bathroom. Our room was on the third floor; WiFi was pretty much non-existent. Breakfast was very sparse. However the service was excellent; we checked in very late and the lovely man who checked us in was full of recommendations about the neighbourhood and about Palermo in general. This B&B was well-located; very close to the railway station. Not luxurious by any means but fine for our purposes, really.
Hidden gem in Palermo
Damjan Gon 23/08/2016 16:12Great little hotel with delicious food. We spent a couple of nights there and we felt great. The hotel is located in a quiet street in an apartment building. The staff is great. They were really helpful.
I'd recommend this place if you plan on visiting Sicily. It is easy to visit Palermo from the location or if you rented a car and want to see other parts of Sicily it is really close to the highway and you can reach any part of the island in 2 hours from the hotel.

As we were on a cycling holiday that was a great plus for us

Dublin TripAdvisor Memberon 16/06/2013 10:54Unlike many reviewers, I really like Palermo, with all its chaos, heat and mayhem. In this case, we were looking for a budget solution and were fine with the location, albeit the wrong side of the train station but fine nevertheless. Unfortunately, despite exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, and a lovely breakfast buffet with fresh croissants, the room had maintenance issues which, in my mind, had been there for a while and should have been dealt with. No matter what you are paying - and it is reasonable - there is no excuse for a leaky shower (causing bathroom to flood), a faulty flush on toilet, a handle falling off the window shutter, no wifi on second floor and intermittent coverage in general, in addition to continuous scrambling on the digital satellite TV - couldn't get one station to work! Room itself is a good size, spottlessly clean with basic B&B type characteristics. I did report the problems to the management but feel an English review might help hasten a response for other travellers. If these issues are fixed, this is a reasonable budget option for exploring this incredible city.
A good base to explore Palermo
Badseyexploreron 14/06/2013 19:11Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms with extremely helpful, informative manager who pointed out all the main places of interest on city map as soon as we arrived. Straight forward to find but a bit of a hike on foot with cases from the station. Good breakfast and reasonable location for acccessing all that Palermo has to offer. Would not heistate in recommending this hotel.
