Right in the Hearst of Venice
587Kimberon 11/06/2017 20:58Great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of EVERYTHING. You can get a drink from the tavern and sit in the dock with the locals all day and well into the night watching the boat traffic on the grand canal and people watch across the canal and to your left at the Rialto Market and the Rialto Bridge. Vaporetto stop an easy 5 min walk for the airport and Murano, Burano and Torchello. The rooms are large an have large bathrooms. Excellent breakfast. Excellent spot if you have kids. There is a room that sleeps 5 that has it's own private terrace looking over the canal. Staff is helpful and skilled. Old world style. Very lovely.

LadyDi0053on 01/06/2017 21:42Absolutely the WORST place we have ever been. Although the room was clean, it was I disrepair. The bathroom was so small but tha6is not the half of it. You need to climb 2 steps to get into it or rather fall down 2 steps when exiting. The show is small and you can't stand in it due to a slanted seat that is very slippery. No place to stand flat. The breakfast consists of little more than coffee and croissant. Walls are thin and you hear everything. No elevator and a lot, I mean a lot, of stairs to negotiate. Reception was rude and down right put out that our flight was delayed. Apparently that was our fault and was told that we need to remember this is Italy and not the US a day she wasn't going to wait all night. Is there a rating less than 0? That's what they deserve.
Dont expect anything but location
Hefrold Con 23/04/2017 21:18I suppose this is typical for Venice. The place had a lingering smell, the breakfast was beyond bad, service just a tad above nil (extra pillow - nope: leaving baggage after checkout - subject to negotiation: hot water outage - yup).
But its in a great place and was clean enough (though no covers on the blankets, just sheets below them) and the wifi did work!
Just dont get you expectations up.
Great Italian Room
SnakeNYCon 19/04/2017 17:47Great location - 4 minutes from Rialto bridge. The room is big and high ceiling. bathroom is big too. Breakfast is nice and simple. very good Italian hotel.
May hear a little street noise as it is very close to the main road. the facility is old and some things may not work. Wifi not so reliable but usable. need to use stairs.
Great location, beautiful courtyard on the waterfront, average hotel
637elleon 11/04/2017 17:30Amazing location next to Rialto bridge and close to San Marco, with a lovely courtyard that goes out onto the Grand Canal. Hosts very helpful, gave us good directions on how to get there and gave us a map with the landmarks circled. Everything very clean and comfortable. The room only has a very small window so it can get a bit stuffy and it's quite dark but there is air con so it's fine! Main plus is the gorgeous old courtyard and the perfect location. Good for a short stay, and affordable for central venice, but if you're looking for a nice hotel experience as well this probably isn't the best. That said, it was all clean and absolutely fine for us!
