Would definitely come back....
natzthomason 14/03/2017 12:06We stayed for 3 nights during a city break to Rome. Less than 5 mins to Vatican, and 10mins walk to the metro.
Located in a quiet area of the city (at night), neighbourhood seemed friendly and relaxed.
Not sign posted as it's located within an apartment building, but once we found it we were very happy - clean, comfortable and secure.
It's basically an apartment with 6 rooms.......3 of which are private bedrooms and 3 of which are the matching private bathrooms.
Breakfast was available from the cafe just outside and next door - very friendly and welcoming.
It's set a short walk away from the main city area and tourist sights but we enjoyed the quiet walk back after dinner in the evenings. We would certainly return on our next trip to rome.
Family break
Fiona Con 04/03/2017 13:39Just a few minutes walk away from the Vatican. Also within walking distance from other attractions like Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.
The bathroom / toilet is private but you have to go out of your room, just as promised.
Very clean room and bathroom. Water and tea / coffee making facilities a nice touch.
### Make sure you take the mobile and number with you - you'll need to call them to come and open for you!!
Rude staff!
jupatoapon 03/10/2016 09:48I always book a room with private bathroom, and until now, every hotel I have stayed at had a private bathroom inside the room, right? That is just comfortable, no need to put your pants on at 3 am in the morning if you had your last cup of coffee at midnight.
In this case, I booked a "private bathroom" double room, but the bathroom was outside. For my own use indeed, but still annoying.
Very clean hotel, smelling great all day long, can't complain about it. Lights in the corridor staying on all day and all night made sleeping a bit more difficult (had to put my pants on to go and look for the switch to turn them off at 3 in the morning).
But the worst came at check out time. The expedia app on my phone showed 11 am as check out time. My wife and I were enjoying a cup of coffee when someone extremely rude knocked on the door at 10 am and just very very unpolitely told us to get out of the room and the hotel. We asked if we could please stay for half an hour, you know? to take a shower, and sort everything out, but she just made her way into the room without giving us the chance. Every hotel has the "late check out" option (with an aditional fee, of course). These people just have no idea about Hospitality! I think they should do a little research before getting into the business. A hotel has to have a reception! Sometimes things don't go as planned, and you can not always anticipate your arrival time! And a hotel must have friendly staff all the time. It's the make or brake of every business, I guess.......
Great location, cozy room & friendly staff.
Eman Con 05/07/2016 10:21The location is very good near the vatican, with alot of cafes and restuarants near by.
The room was very comfortable & clean with air-conditioning (a must in Rome) and had a nice private bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful, place is easy to find and not too far from the Metro Ottiviano. Would just like to mention the wi-fi was quite sketchy and our booking included breakfast which we didn't get (maybe there was a miscommunication? ) Anyhow, would recommend!
Birthday treat
Lewis Pon 25/05/2015 16:26Stayed here for a treat on my partners birthday. Ideal location to explore Rome via the metro. Right next to the Vatican you can't ask for a better location. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom which was down the corridor. This was not ideal but we didn't mind. The room was large and had a large comfy bed. However the room was a little noisy but you cant expect silence in the centre of Rome. We know had two complaints about our stay, the previous packaged breakfast on a tray served in your room and the shower tray constantly flooding. Apart from these issues a fair enough place for the price we paid.
