I small and welcoming hotel with a wonderful staff

This hotel is located among the warrens of small streets in Trapani. Decor is simple but comfortable. The staff is friendly and very helpful, making good suggestions for places to eat. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a wonderful plaza and eating area around the corner for morning coffee and something to eat. Also a bakery across the street that opens early with fresh pastries. We had a handicap adapted room. However, like every handicap adapted room we experienced throughout Sicily, there was no recognition of the need for grab bars in the shower for support when standing. There seems to be a general lack of understanding of this need.

Comfortable, affordable for visiting the old city

We spent several nights over the Easter holidays and were well pleased. The room is not fancy but has everything you need to be comfortable. The mini-kitchen is convenient for the refrigerator and a morning cup of tea. The rooms are spacious (although the shower is tiny!). Great wifi service. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and advice. The rooftop terrace was delightful. The location is ideal, in the old part of the city within walking distance of everything you could want to see. Do not skip the Bar della Piazzetta just to the right of the entrance, which has comfy seats on a sunny piazza and delicious drinks and snacks served by two pleasant, smiling young women. We spent more than a few hours relaxing there among the potted plants and neighborhood cats.
Be warned it can be noisy. If your room is on the top floor you can hear the furniture on the roof being dragged around. And if you are there over a holiday, there are some pretty raucous parties at the nearby outdoor bars. But that's what holidays are about, right? Stop in for a nightcap and enjoy!

Apartment with kitchen good for 2 adults and 2 children. Clean, class to historic town, harbour and only 25 min away from aeroport.The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us priceless information.

Very nice residence, surprisingly quiet in spite of being situated in the very center of Trapani. We had a comfortable spacious and cleaned apartment with livingroom and well equippe kitchen. Good air conditioned system wich very well warmed. Extremely nice and helpful personal. Very good wi-fi.
Good restaurants, pubs, cafè, bakery, shops nearby.
The Residence is located just in front of Rinascente pasticceria who prepares delicious typical cakes, cannoli and other delicacies.
Trapani has a lot to offer, from the museums Pepoli well known for coral artistic objects, monuments, historical buildings, to street life, markets, food (!) and shopping.
Important experience was the Course of Sicilian Cooking, and excursion in Quad around Segesta temple, that receptionist suggested us.
We hope to have opportunity to come back, and would be glad to stay in the same hotel residence. Grazie mille, "Residece San Domenico"!

Nice apartment hotel

We stayed 2 nights in a large clean but plainly decorated 2-bedroom apartment that was comfortable with spacious rooms and a small kitchenette. The kitchen seemed impractical for preparing anything other than tea. The building has a rooftop patio with a rack for drying laundry, and a small interior courtyard. There is no restaurant or breakfast room on the premises, but a small breakfast was provided at a little café around the corner. The location is an easy walk to the main shopping and restaurant area and the harbor peninsula. There was one glitch: there was no water in the hotel on the morning we were leaving Trapani, and there was no staff on the premises to deal with the problem until we left to catch our bus.
