An oasis in ubud
Kevin Lon 12/08/2017 06:46After taking a slow ferry (6 hours) from Lembar (Lombok), then the shuttle bus to ubud, I was a a bit frustrated finding this hotel as it was wrongly marked on map.me .
However, just immersing myself into the swimming pool and enjoyed the view of paddy field, I felt no regret for booking this hotel.
I stayed in the only single room in this hotel. It was roomy (for a single room) and came with a bath tub. The window (fixed) faced towards the wall of another hotel but you can still have a glimse of the paddy field that was great.
The swimming pool and the view of paddy field were the reason why I chose this hotel and felt no regret. I stayed 3 days in this little gem.
Staffs were all nice and helpful. Breakfast was really amazing.
The only problem is that it tags away from the major roads and you have to walk pass alleys to reach it.
Oasis in ubud
Jenny Son 04/06/2017 11:07I stayed here 2 weeks and it was perfect to use as a base to travel in and around ubud. The host family couldn't do enough to help and the position is perfect. Ubud over looking the rice fields. The pool was a great relief to swim in after walking or travelling. Already planning my next trip!
Just beautiful
Gabriel Son 15/12/2016 02:29This place had an amazing view! The room was clean and really nice, the bed was great and the bathroom had a tub. You get to choose of different breakfasts and it tasted good. The only negative thing that it's a little of, but it's well worth because of the view.
frogs and gecko’s sing you to sleep every night
Gary Non 22/10/2015 10:15Visited 5 years ago and stayed 6 weeks. I have just returned. Why not? Such great value! Traditional building and a pool overlooking rice fields where the sound of frogs and gecko’s sing you to sleep every night after frenetic Ubud. The owner? Could be misinterpreted as some reviewers have done. He has a dry, Bob Newhart styled humour which is a crack up . You get to live with a lovely family in their family compound. The staff ?.... lovely guys, but no ... not good travel guides.
worth it for the views
Jaime Bon 20/10/2015 13:36I liked this place but have to mark it down, mainly for two reasons. Firstly the aircon was broken. They provided a fan but room was too hot. Also the actual alas lagoon was full so I was taken by scooter, haha funny experience with my large suitcase, to owners other property down the road called pandoks paradise. I didnt really mind but others may as it means you are not near the pool. I was happy with the room which had its own terrace with table and chairs and beautiful views over rice fields. They provide you with hot water in a flask, tea and coffee which is nice touch. The centre of ubud is only 10 mins away.
