Friendly and Helpful to the Max!

If you're seeking one of the friendliest places to stay on the island, I recommend Albergo Villa Giusto. The staff was the most friendly and helpful of any I've ever experienced. The wonderful owner himself actually took me to the electrical store so I could buy the correct adapter. His wife has created lovely gardens that boast many lush fruiting and flowering species. I fell in love with the cotton towels used at the villa and searched during the rest of my holiday for some to bring back as a reminder of my lovely time in Ischia. The Albergo Villa Giusto is directly across from the No. 5 bus stop which made exploring the island all the easier.

Our home in Isvhia

Very frienldy owners who helped us with the planning of our visits around the island, Confortable and quiet rooms, some with gorgeous sea view. It was very cold during our stay but the room had good heating.

Pleasant, comfortable and friendly.

Arrived hot and bothered having caught the wrong bus. Which was our fault. (The number 5 bus from the port stops right outside the hotel.)The welcome was friendly and we were given a basic but very clean and comfortable room. In fact we have both slept soundly every night. Which is unusual for us, normally the first couple of nights away from home, we toss and turn. The bathroom has large shower with plenty of oomph. There is a leaflet letting you know that the water is turned off at certain times to help save the planet.
Breakfast is usual affair of cakes, pastries, juices etc. The bread deserves a special mention all of its own, that is, if like us you love thick crusted bread with a light open texture. Coffee is good too.
We enjoyed sitting on the veranda looking at the sea through the orange trees.
We speak very little, almost no Italian. The staff here speak basic English and are very helpful.
Some previous reviews comment on distance to the beach. So here is our opinion for what it's worth. We are middle aged and very fat. It took exactly 30mins for us to waddle to the beach. Door to sand upon foot. We were overtaken by lots of people so I think it's about 15 to 20 mins for an average walker. Though not a path I'd like to take small children down. Luckily the number 5 bus goes up and down all day.
Quick word on busses, they are really good but at the weekends are very packed. Eg when it's full to an up close and personal level, they can still squeeze another group of elderly walkers in,
We are throughly enjoying our stay here. In an ideal world coffee and tea making facilities in our room would have been a bonus.
Free wifi but no signal in our room (full signal on the veranda) The building is obviously old and has wonderfully thick walls that help to keep our room quiet but get in the way of wifi signals.
All in all we'd be very happy to stay here again.

Lovely resort - lovely staff

Beautiful spacious clean rooms, maintained daily, Roberta was a wonderful member of staff who continuously helped us with translation, lovely setting.

Only minuses are, no pool, no kettle in the rooms & the location was a good distance from the beach. On a super plus the bus stopped right outside the door to go to the beach/ischia porto.

Absolutely perfect!

It was one of 4 hotels we have stayed in during our trip to Italy and it was definitely the best one.

The hotel was easy to reach from the port by bus number 5 which runs often until late hours. We told a driver where are we going to and he stopped just in front of the hotel.

Our room was very clean, cosy and we had an oustanding view of the sea. The villa is run by a family who provides a very good service. They were always very kind and helpful and therefore we felt there like at home.

Breakfast as delicious and big (not only croissant with cappucino, but also very tasty homemade bread, muesli, ham, cheese etc.).

We rented a scooter for 25 eur/day and we had so much fun driving through this beautiful island.

We hope to come back again!
