Good Hostel

Hostel was good, got a two bed room to myself even though I booked a mixed bed room. Had wifi in the room and there was free parking outside. Area was a bit run down and was a 20 minute walk into town.

Safe, clean, friendly and parking.

We stayed as a family of 4 for a couple of nights which were the beginning of an Andalucian road trip. This place is your typical hostel which caters for a range of people, both young and old. Breakfast is super basic so if you're an all inclusive type who likes a range of bread and biscuits for brekkie then stay away, as you'll feel like you've gone to a health farm and nobody likes you. Be warned: you will need to bone up your Spanish speaking if you want to achieve anything in Huelva. Seriously, it's really Spanish and this gives it its charm. The dearest meal for 4 that we bought was 18euros (yes, in total) so if you're on a budget head Huelva. All good. Night time security man likes a fag or two so if you are partial yourself, get him involved. Particularly if you want to practise your Spanish. Call them night classes! Enjoy.

Outstanding accommodation

This hostel in the middle of Huelva is a gem as far as I am concerned.

Value is outstanding - not sure what the handfull of negative reviewer expected:
Seven star hotel with butler and private pool, gee!?!
Same thing with the complaints about wifi: The router is next to reception and considering the thick walls and how huge this place is, only a moron would expect wifi everywhere - don't think the budget would allow for a router in every single room - try the Hilton and you might get lucky to get decent wifi in the lobby unless you pay 25 €/day!

Anyhow, for the price, the twin-share rooms are fantastic for a single person or two friends.
A couple would need to be very close in one bed (80 cm wide - been there, done that) or maybe move the beds together (-;

My room had a radiator (central heating system) and a dedicated air-condition.
Two huge cupboards store away your gear, two desks and shelves in the main room.
The bathroom is equipped with a decent shower and hot water doesn't run out opposed to a lot of other places I've stayed at within the region.

The whole outfit must have been renovated not too long ago - everything is nice and clean and looks pretty new.

The clerk doesn't speak a single word of English, however there wouldn't be much to speak anyway and I found the check-in procedure very easy with my three words of Spanish.

I'd like to thank the operators for providing outstanding facilities for the budget-oriented traveller. Cheers!

If I can choose, never again

The rooms are very very basic, but that's okay for a hostel.The problem is with the wifi and staff. There should be wifi in all the structure, but actually on the second floor it didn't work. The staff didn't even say hello or goodbye, sometimes there was no one at reception to give the key. Basically I hope to never have to go there.

Basic but a very cheap and pleasant stay

Even though I live here in Huelva my flat was under some heavy renovation and for a couple of days I have to look for a place near my flat to sleep in. I choose the “Albergue” (youth hostel in Spanish) since it was close to my location and very cheap.
The place is not in the city center but very close by, around 15 minutes walking. It is spotlessly clean and the staff is kind and polite. The communal area is quite pleasant and open with greenery and seating area with lots of light Rooms were functional and basic but as I said very clean and well cared of and they all have nice modern bathrooms.

Recommended to save money and have an above average stay
