Great place for a short stay
Y2112TQcarlabon 03/08/2017 19:57We stayed in a room with 3 twin beds and found it quite adequate and charming. Highly recommend the breakfast if you're just staying overnight as it makes things much easier prior to travel and was quite good.
A nice Gem outside the city center.
GrantO13on 02/08/2017 13:30My family's stay at the Albion hotel was a good one. We found great dinning nearby and it was close to the bus routes. A short walk to the hop on hop off route was a bonus. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day.
Good wee hotel
ScotchAndyon 01/08/2017 19:17Stayed at this hotel for a weekend break. Cost reasonable at £135 for a single room at the height of the holiday season. The hotel is one of a small chain run by a Scottish company.
First impressions are OK, like a lot of small hotels in Glasgow it is converted from an old house. The room was on the first floor. Glad it was not higher as there are a lot of stairs and no lift. The room was fresh, modern and clean, the en-suite ditto. There were features about the room you don't normally get in B&B, a safe, a fridge and on the tea & coffee tray - a teapot.
Good location, a couple of minutes walk from bus stops and the subway. If you have a car there is free on street parking at the weekend. There are a number of eateries and bars within walking distance.
Slept well, comfortable bed and although close to one of the city's busiest roads quiet.
Staff, especially the receptionist, were friendly and helpful.
The only slight disappointment was the breakfast. The choice is fine but one of the 2 breakfasts came with a burnt skin on the fried egg and the toast was burnt and should not have been served.
Overall I was very pleased with my trip.
Nice stay, breakfast could be better
sabinekT4027AOon 01/08/2017 12:52We stayed from 27-29 of july in the Albion Hotel in Glasgow. The room was spacious and clean, tea and cookies, comfortable beds, bathroom ok.
Very close to the subway and restaurants, even though located in a quiet street.
Only suggestion: the breakfast: more variety of fruits and yogurt!!( There was only a bowl with grapefruit , no more fruits).
The receptionist was very friendly and helpfull. Good service.

hanas219on 30/07/2017 11:06We would not stay here again. On our arrival the receptionist was extremely rude and had a terrible attitude! Think she had an severe case of having a power trip. The rooms we're very dusty and was shocked when our bed sheets weren't even changed during our entire stay considering we even had to clean everything ourselves before checking out. I don't even know why they have even bothered to hire cleaners. The location of the hotel was terrible, absolutely nothing to do around you, we had to get the subway to get to places to do things.
