Saved our trip
lisrobinsonon 03/10/2016 14:24Having been let down after a 15 month booking elsewhere we ended up homeless for husband's 60th and tickets for the Arena due to the marble exhibition. Renzo actually gave up his room and stayed with friends to enable us to stay and enjoy a long waited concert date.
The location is a little strange as it appears to be in an office block, but it is a mixed occupancy building with offices and residents. Go in the centre entrance, turn left at the end and take lift to 3rd floor.
The owner, Renzo, is lovely and so helpful. Everything we needed was available in our room which was spotless and confortable.
The apartment, which is also Renzo's home, was very peaceful and only a short walk to the centre. There is a little balcony leading off from the kitchen where you can look out on the garden behind and almost forget you are in a busy town. Breakfast is served by Renzo in the kitchen and has expanded to include yoghurt, fresh rolls/croissants, cereals, fresh juice and wonderful freshly made stove-top Italian coffee.
We can't thanks Renzo enough for saving our trip and for being such a great host.
Great location and very friendly owner
Maja Jon 22/03/2016 14:49B&B is on great location, 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre. Pretty easy to find. Great, very friendly and helpful owner, who speaks good English. Gave us a map of Verona and Garda lake and good tips what to see and where to eat.
Room and private bathroom were very clean. Tipical breakfast - bread, jam, sweets and cappucino.
Great value for money.
70s all over again
VargaOrsion 10/06/2015 07:28The B&B is located in a building from the 70s is very spacious and very stlyish for my taste but it really is the 70s all over again.
We stayed 4 nights here and the place was chosen for its great location.
we used this to be the center of our Veneto and Lombardia tour.
Quite close to the downtown but also to the train and bus station only 10 min walk from both.
The large room itself came with a big bathroom and very comfortable beds.
Renzo serves a nice italian breakfast with much needed coffe.
The only thing what maybe needs inprovement is the wifi quality; we experienced some outages. nowadays not everyone travels with a travelbook and also the timetables need to be checked sometimes.
Keep in mind, that italian B&Bs often if not ever mean that the owner lives in the same apartment. I read some reviews where people were shocked about the fact :)

Anastasia Mon 27/11/2014 08:12Me & my husband stayed in Albora B&B on November 22/23d. It is really 7-10 minutes from the station and from the center. Our room was big, warm and cosy. The bed is huge, the pillows are soft)) The bathroom was soo nice, with everything nedeed.
Renzo is very welcoming. He made a wonderful breakfast for us (coffee, toasts, muesli, jam, yoghurt). Highly reccommend!
still the best cappuccino in Verona
mike66793on 08/08/2014 20:04I stayed at Albora B&B before and it was again an excellent place to stay during a trip to Verona. It is very clean, the best location you can think of and still quiet during the night. Big rooms and a very nice breakfast with the best cappuccino in Verona. Just stay there and you know what I mean!
