Worst holiday ever place is a shambles, dirty unkept, staff really not interested couldnt even get a coffee in a china cup for an 83 year old who found the paper cups to hot was basically told tough. Staff in bar are rude, entertainment is a farce,

We stayed in alborada for 10 nights, room was huge bed even bigger very clean, yes the hotel is a bit dated but it's clean, food well I don't really know what else they can put out, salad fish pasta pizza 2 meat dishes people are just fussy if they can't find something to eat, we ate there every day soups were really good, all inclusive drinks were fine wine strong, take ice out and measure is fine I read all reviews and thought what have I booked, beautiful village, and well the pool is huge its amazing watching sea come in, yes it was drained once when we were there but it was amazing to watch, never seen such a stunning pool, ground are fine again a bit tired but I've seen worse, amazing staff, reps very helpful, can't fault it at all, we will go again, x

After reading the reviews before we came, my friend and I were very sceptical on what we would see/experience. Upon arrival it didn't look the best, but who spends the whole day looking at the front of the hotel? We had no problem with the so called 'rude staff'. The room was spacious and maybe a little dated but we didn't pay for a 5* so we didn't expect it. It could of done with air-con but they have fans available but are very limited, we managed to get one on our 3rd day. If the maid doesn't change towels just ring reception and they will send some up. As for the cockroaches everywhere, we were here 7days and only saw 1. And what I've been told about Tenerife it's normal to see them in the evenings. The pool is amazing and yes it does get dirty but it's right next to the sea and the waves come over so you kind of expect it! The food has its ups and downs but if you like chips and pasta then you're fine :) The best part of the holiday has got to be the entertainment, the animacíon team are amazing and really go out of their way to make you have a great time especially Jhon who's always got a massive smile on his face and makes you feel at home :) It could do with a few more bar staff to avoid the queues. My overall experience has been fantastic and would come back.

Great hotel for the price

We had a lovely time there. The food was varied enough each day with plenty of choice.

Room was clean with lots of space, and the hotel is kept well enough for the price you pay.

So many people giving bad reviews is unfair to the hotel. If they would like a 4 or 5 start service they should pay 4 or 5 star prices.

You get what you pay for and this was a really nice and pleasant trip for us.

Fun and inclusive entertainment. Always beds available and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of drinks available whenever you want them.

Was good value for money and a nice holiday all round.

Arrived on 10/08/17 check in fine but when you go to your room it is so hot no ceiling fans nothing , the restaurant needs Bug zapper lights and ventilation desperately! dont go all inclusive (but if you have already booked dont worry to much no one was ill here that i know of just stay clear of the grated carrots ! and be prepared for the heat in there and fly bites . positives The rooms are quite big and spacious, Balcony, English tv channels but the gem is the superb pool :) bus stop not to far to take you to near towns and beaches markets etc. The rep at the hotel was ok and gave us good advice about using sun factor 50 i thank him for that just wished he would try eating at the restaurant we where there 10 days never seen him once :( Any way we had a lovely holiday ) we would return but knowing the facilities would choose later in the year and go self catering ;)
