Lovely place to stay
John Bon 06/06/2017 17:02We stayed just overnight whilst cycling the Loire a velo trail. A great welcome, comfortable room, and a short stroll to the town. A really nice, traditional small hotel and a lovely host. Cannot recommend enough.
lovely hotel, clean and good location
F Fon 18/05/2017 17:07The hotel is lovely and clean, just a couple of hundred metres away from the river Loire, and in a good location to walk into the town, that is about 10 minutes walk away. Muriel, the owner makes you feel very welcome right from the point of arrival. The breakfast is well worth the money, there is a good selection of breads, cereals, fresh fruit, jams etc. Although the hotel is next to the station, apart from a couple of freight trains during the evening, we didn't experience any disturbance.

While the room was not huge it was clean and the bathroom was very functional even if the hot water took a very long time to reach the shower. Parking is in a gated area behind the hotel so your Jag or Merc will be very safe as was my Renault. There are excellent restaurants across the bridges.
Excellent hotel for the price

Exceptionally clean with an extremely friendly manager who spoke excellent English. A great breakfast was provided. Only it's location, near the station, stops it from 5 stars.
Brilliant breakfast

The room was very clean and tidy with a huge bathroom, the breakfast was one of the best during our trip, lots of fresh bread etc, and cereals. Several different types of tea to choose and good coffee. And a kettle to make the tea with. Car parking is available with is huge bonus. The owners could not have been more helpful, a lovely couple.The old town centre, where there are lots of good restaurants, is a gentle flat 15 minute stroll across the Loire.
