Close to the red metro line
Bilbo Bon 24/05/2017 22:19Came to Kyiv for Eurovision. This hotel was ideally situated as it was quite close to a station on the red metro line, taking me directly to the venue.
The room was a good size & clean. The decor was slightly dated, but fitted in with the hotel style. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean.
Breakfast was included and I had a choice of quite a few different options. I chose the oatmeal and bread & cheese options, which were sufficient.
Would have liked to have tried the sauna, but wasn't sure where it was/how to access it. Also, I had no idea what was written in the manual in my room as there was no English in it. I'm hoping it wasn't important.
The hotel appears to shut its front desk by midnight as the 2 nights I stayed, the place was locked up on my return. With no apparent buzzer, I just had to pace back & forth until someone noticed me.
I really liked the little cabins & the garden outside. The turtles/terrapins in the indoor pond were very sweet too.
Charme of good old days - good price
asche_10on 12/05/2013 11:44This hotel has a bit the charme of good old soviet days, but prices are reasonable and rooms are ok. there is metro 10 minutes walk away and breakfast is not bad. So: if there is no central located hotel available for an acceptable price, we can recommend this Hotel.
