So we have just returned from a week in this hotel. First opinions is the hotel was very well organised. Then the week started first day we went down to get a Sun bed and guess what there was none at all there was more than us without a Sun bed also on closer inspection some Sun beds were not touched at all that day but had towels on them. Next was the evening meal times for some reason there was never any tables to sit down and enjoy your meal even if you went a little later you would not really get one which was all set out. I don't think this hotel is geared up to provide a good standard of service when the hotel is full. Other than that entertainment team are decent bar staff work there socks off. Food is normally cold to warm never piping hot the snack bar is terrible the drinks bar needs to improve the options of drink available on all inclusive. I think the whole hotel needs more staff who know how it's done. I defo won't be back here poor I would say more of a 3 star hotel the rooms need more storage space also
My wife and I have just returned from staying a week at the Alize. Booked through jet2 holidays.
Upon arrival reception staff were polite and quickly checked us in. Bell boy gave us a quick guided tour on our way to our room which was nice.
Have stayed in other hotels in the area and room was of the same standard. Nothing fancy. Only one of us could sit on the balcony as it was small. The view from room 208 is bad. Hotel in great location at end of strip only 5 minutes walk to bars and shops.
We had no problems with the food. We found something nice to eat every night. Breakfast not so good if you go early 7:30. Found it to be only warm unless you were having freshly cooked omelette which started at 8.
Bar staff were good and polite. Never had to wait long for a drink. Not enough seats in bar area though.limited drinks available.
Pool area lovely. Again as with every hotel I have stayed at not enough sunbeds. Had a problem with people reserving them at silly o'clock. You would struggle to get 1 after 06:30. Management to their credit did bring in a no reserving before 07:30 rule towards end of our week and it seemed to work.
Entertainment team did their best with the usual darts, water polo etc, but evening entertainment was poor.
Overall had a great week.
Stayed at the Alize in August with my husband. This was our 2nd trip to this hotel and we will definitely be returning. Received a lovely welcome back from the Porters to the Management, a lovely start. We were in a different room which gave us a sea view, bonus! My only 'complaint' about the room is lack of room/drawers for clothes, other than that it was fine, lovely bathroom with powerful shower.
Location is great, near the main strip, short walk to gorgeous beach and local dolmus buses to nearby Hisaronu and Fethiye.
I have to say I wonder whether we stayed at the same hotel as people making negative comments? Staff were ALL friendly and approachable, nothing too much trouble, we didn't find any of the bar staff 'rude' they were all very friendly!
I have to say a massive 'thank you' to Guvenc Dirlik and the reception staff for their help on our last day, excellent service 😀. Thank you to all the staff, sorry I'm terrible for remembering names (Ramazan 😀, Freddie and the guys behind the bar, restaurant staff etc).
As for comments regarding hot/slippy tiles around the pool, this happens around any pool at other hotels we've visited (put something on your feet ????).
All in all a great holiday in a great hotel, see you next year 😁.
We visited in august 2017, a party made up of 1 adult 1 child 1 disabled adult and 2 Oap's, on arrival at the hotel at 4.am we had a warm welcome by friendly staff who explained everything clearly, hotel grounds and rooms were very clean and constantly cleaned through the duration of our stay, food was excellent with a wide selection and was constantly checked and rotated, dining area always kept spotless and empty plates cleared promptly, entertainment team worked tirelessly throughout the day and done an excellent job, all staff were friendly and willing to help in anyway.
Management kept checking everything was suitable for the disabled member of our party and an issue arose (air con) it was quickly sorted, location is excellent for shops and catching local transport also in walking distance to the beach, no evening noise from outside the hotel could be heard also evening entertainment was absolutely brilliant, we would highly recommend staying at the Alize we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and will gladly go back again.
We booked hotel Alize through Thomas Cook for our honeymoon as an all inclusive deal that we can just go and chill out. The hotel was nice and clean (though our room wasn't often cleaned until late afternoon) , had everything we needed. It was a simple hotel with not a lot of bells and whistles , we didn't need it though as we spent most of our time outside the hotel.
The best deal they have is with the seahorse beach club in the blue lagoon - free transfers and free sun beds and umbrellas when you are there . Location is excellent - 1 minute walk from the strip and 5 minutes to the beach.
Staff were generally friendly however language issues did make some communications difficult.
Food was good , the BBQ in the evening was particularly good.
I wouldn't rush to rebook it but did us well for our holiday.
