Stayed for a long weekend. A nice quite place . It reminds of the days when every hotel/motel wasn't a chain (not that chain hotel/motels are bad ) Its refreshing to stay at place like this. Although no breakfast places nearby are opened early ( lots of fishermen an we get up earlier anyway) Very well maintained CLEAN , even Larson brand storm doors. Found it relaxing sitting at the picnic table reading

We stayed there 1 night on our way home from the Renaissance Fair. Very nice place, cozy room with all the amenities, a/c worked, fridge was great, microwave, cable tv, coffee maker, wifi and ice machine. We had a quiet room on the end. Lovely yard. The motel is up for sale though. You have to ring the bell and wait for someone to answer since it is also a private home, very nice lady!

Very Beautiful Landscaping

Stayed here so we could attend the Sterling Renaissance Fair. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was peaceful we heard no outside traffic or other guests. The landscaping was nicely done in daylillies and hostas (blooming). The room was spacious, very clean and well kept (no smells). The bath was interesting, for ladies they provided a dark color wash cloth to remove make-up thought that was interesting. The shower pressure for the hot water was too low, not sure if it was just our room , the mattress was too firm but that's a personal preference. The TV size was a bit small but it didn't matter to us. They provided complementary water in the micro fridge(nice touch). Local was perfect, about 2 -3 miles are many restaurants and stores. We were able to get take out delivered. We've stayed at chain motels in the past that really didn't match up to how nice this place is. Highly recommend.

Perfect as usual

This was our second time staying here and it was perfect. If you are staying in or around Oswego County don't go anywhere else. You are out of the city, but not too far. Nice country setting with 5 star rooms. We stayed in room 9 and had two nice comfy chairs, two queen size beds, coffee pot, microwave and a small fridge. It is nice to sit out on the bench to relax and not have all the sounds of the city right in your face. To top it off, the people who own this gem are great. Whether you are here for the races, the lake or just passing through, give this place a visit. You will not be sorry.

Clean and peaceful

Great stay! While checking in, she was so nice & friendly and noticed i paid more than the room rate and adjusted my bill. I asked if we could check out later, no problem.The room was decorated so nicely, it was clean with a very peaceful relaxing vibe. I will definitely be staying here again.
