Made to fell welcome
Mickardon 31/05/2015 15:55This was booked for me through work, and it worked out very well. Made to fell welcome, well decorated room. Everything you'll expect from a more expensive four star hotel in the UK. Nice touches at breakfast with the home cooked items. If your passing or in the area for a few days, consider Picchio.

Matteo Aon 11/12/2014 18:31We spent two night at Alla corte del Picchio. We booked two rooms, a single room and the suite. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi is free and it works properly. At breakfast you have a grea choice. Stefania is very kind and if you need any suggestion where to eat or what to visit just ask her and she will give you the right suggestion.

An extremely cordial stay
LxG51on 13/09/2014 19:47Mr & Mrs. Picchio are the nicest people. Their rooms are very clean and pleasant. We toured the area near the B&B including: Ferrara, Bologna, Faenza, Brisighella, Ravenna and Dozza. All towns are very quaint and each have something very unique to offer. This B&B was very convenient for these day trips. The breakfast included home made goods. English is minimally spoken. I was there with an Italian friend, so language wasn't an issue. Mr. Picchio made excellent restaurant recommendations and local towns to visit . By the way Picchio means woodpecker in English. My friend and I referred to them as Mr & Mrs Woodpecker. We felt very safe there. They have parking inside their gates. Stay here you will be very happy. I know I was. buoni viaggi (good travels)

AinaK2013on 09/07/2014 05:23Came late 00.30, and met by a dad that did not mind. In a field but easy to get to from Bologna if you follow instructions. Small breakfast room, but excellent serviced by the parents of Stephania. For 73 euro it is really worth it.(though booking.com said 66)
I love staying at Alla Corte del Picchio
Andrew Ron 13/02/2014 14:49because of ongoing business relationships nearby, I have stayed several times before, but this time hadnt been back for over a year.
It was lovely to see Stefania again, and felt like coming to a home-away-from-home when my colleagues and I stepped through the front door.
I don't think I have written a review on the del Picchio before, but I noticed the Trip Advisor banner in the lobby and kicked myself for not praising Stefania and her lovely little B+B a long time ago So to make up for lost time (and based now on my having slept in probably most of the rooms at one time or another !): The del Piccio is warm, friendly, clean, up to date with all its features, out in the country with a 360 degree field view (great to be out of the cities !), quiet, and managed efficiently by one of the most friendly and professional people I know.
Once you've been there you'll be looking for an excuse to return
