What People are saying

A great host!

Israel Con 09/10/2015 16:48

I stayed there for 3 days and Sergio was so accommodating!!! I work in hotels but I do believe is because of the warm experience sergio provides that people prefer to stay in b&b places in Europe as opposed to be branded hotels. I will definitely recommend Sergio's place to any friend or family member going to Rome

I stayed here in April, 2015, on the recommendation of a friend........and loved it !!!! Only a few blocks from the Vatican, with immaculately clean, updated, spacious accomodations. The private bath was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Sergio was very gracious and welcoming. The price was excellent !!!!

nice b&b in Rome

I spent a really nice we with my best friend in this b&b. The host Sergio was very friendly and kind. Our room had a private bathroom outside the room, the sheets were soft to the touch and smell good, the room was also quite. Everythig was very clean, the breakfast was rich and abundant: there was ham, cheese, fresh fruits, croissant, snaks, tea, coffe. The bus stop was in front of the building, from the B&B s. pietro was just 10 minutes by walking. The price exellent. I reccomend it.

not what we expected

joannc831on 31/10/2014 15:10

cancelled staying here due to a family emergency after arriving, however,..... it was not what we expected. as adult female friends from USA traveling together we were very uncomfortable with this place. the owner was friendly. place was clean. sheets were OLD!!!! room that we booked was a room being rented from the mans apartment. we had our "own" bathroom.... down the hall. it was locked and supposedly we had the only key. no idea what bathroom the couple who were staying in the next room were going to use. so if staying here, bring a bathrobe. price says breakfast included, we were to have instructions on how to use the stove top and to clean the kitchen when we are done. so you have to make your own breakfast. Wi-Fi worked great.

Comfortable, Clean, Convenient!

Perfect Location! Convenient, Clean and Comfortable!

I had a lovely stay for 4 nights. This small B&B is located in a solidly built and well kept apartment building, on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator in case you cannot climb the stairs. Sergio met me there upon my arrival and we say down for a thorough orientation to the city, how to get around, recommendations, and tips only a local could know: what busses and trains go where, what platforms I could count on to go a certain direction, when to avoid the lines at certain attractions, etc.
The bed was nice and soft. I had the room with an en-suite bathroom. The other room has a private bathroom across the hall from their room.

Although there is no "living room," there is an entrance way with two chairs and a lot of information about the city. This B&B is an easy walk to the Vatican, and to San Pietro Metro/Train station. There are many restaurants, fruit stands, gelato shops and even a grocery store all within an easy walk. Also a few pharmacies and the post office. Safe neighborhood. TV and AC in the room. Nice shower - clean, good hot water. There is a toilet and bidet. There was a safe available, and there was a table with two chairs.

Wifi is available, free, and was reliable if a tiny bit slow (but not inconveniently so).

Breakfast is self service. Sergio or Caterina leave the kitchen table set for the next morning and there is a variety to chose from: milk, tea, coffee, espresso, juices, fruit, yogurt, cheese and prosciutto, pre packaged breakfast pastries, bread, jam, and occasionally fresh pastries from down the street.

Sergio was often available for a quick question and was always very helpful and friendly. He has lived in the city most of his life.

Directions provided said to take bus 64 from Roma Termini, which did work, but I might also suggest taking the Metro to San Pietro. Just get the Rome Metro iPhone app before you come and it will help you get around on the public transportation.

Definitely a good value and quality for the price. I would certainly stay here again. It felt like a little home away from home. Thank you for a lovely stay and for making me feel at home, safe and comfortable knowing where to go and how to get there.
