Brilliant!
Jo Pon 18/08/2017 10:31Great hotel! The staff are lovely and really helpful giving advice on how to get to Venice island and other local attractions; nothing is too much trouble for the staff. There is a bus stop right outside and it’s a 15-minute bus ride, the reception desk even sells the bus tickets!
The breakfast was lovely and the room was really nice; comfortable, clean with great facilities.
I would love to go back and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
bad overall
Aj Ton 14/07/2017 02:53We booked two rooms thru Orbitz, but they had only one room when we arrived. Half of our group ended up in different hotel. Customer service was rude and bad. Manager/ Owner was not apologetic for not giving us rooms that we booked. The room that was given to us was converted from attic and so 5'5" person cannot walk straight in room. It is in industrial area and if you don't have car, you are stuck after evening in your hotel, Feels unsafe when no one is around on the road. Mall is 1 mile away but again, cannot walk to the mall because of location.
Budget stay, but Is it worth It?
giabiancaon 20/05/2017 22:02I really wanted to write a really great review for my stay at this place, but I am compelled to inform potential shoppers before they book. A few things to consider before you book:
- The hotel is in an industrial district about 15-20 minutes away from Venice by car. It was about a 30 Euro taxi ride to Venice. Now, consider that you might want to take a taxi into town one night, that's a 60 Euro roundtrip. Not worth it. Splurge and spend that money on a nicer hotel in Venice.
- There's a bus stop in front of the hotel, so if you're confident enough to figure out how to get into the city, then you should be good with this budget option.
- Breakfast was included in our stay, but it is mostly sweets. It's what we would call a continental breakfast in the States.
- Cable TV is all in Italian, so for those who are not familiar with the language, the TV is mostly for decoration.
- The internet was pretty good throughout. No complaints there. I have a Netflix subscription so we were able to have some entertainment in English.
- Depending on the time of day, you might have a really nice front desk attendant or you might have the one who isn't very accommodating.
- There are towels but bring your washcloths.
- The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were not plump.
- You can definitely hear what's going on in the hallways or next door. Pray for quiet neighbors.
Overall, best for folks who are used to traveling about in Italy or who will be here a bit longer-term.
Visiting Venice
BrianG_01on 21/10/2016 21:19By and large, this is a nice quiet hotel. Note: the address is not correct and it causes problems with Google maps (use the hotel name). Front desk staff speak English and are very helpful. The room cleaning could be more thorough, but improved after we brought it to the hotel's attemtion
Double room with breakfast
Stipe86on 12/09/2016 19:40Nice hotel, pleasant staff. It takes 20 minutes with the bus from Hotel to Piazzale Roma. Both directions you can use 53E bus which stops just in front of the hotel.
Just around the corner is also a shopping center if you want to eat something.
All the best
