Lovely 1 day stay on a road trip
renatminon 22/07/2017 13:03Place is definitely more than just overnight stay - wellness is the key theme there. But just enjoyed the room (awesome view wherever you are in the hotel), great breakfast and some walks around. Definitely great place to stop for longer. P.S. no A/C in the room might me a challenge on hot summer days. but would you stay in the room with so many cool stuff to do outside?

Dinner, steaks and hamburger is very good. Helios house salad should be upgraded, there is no life in it

ReisenderMuenchenon 25/09/2016 16:32The allgäu resort is clearly geared towards meetings and conferences. Although the pool and wellness area is nice and room also fine (although the water from shower can flow into the room, because of flat entrance. We built a small "towel wall" to prevent this).
But the restaurant prices are quite high for the quality. We had a fish with risotto, which was way too salty and basically not edible, and involtini from veal, which were very dry. And there are unfortunately not many other restaurants close-by.
Last but not least, at breakfast they removed the coffee machine at 9:40 (breakfast until 10), because it was needed for a meeting break. Although someone still brought us a coffee (after long waiting. They probably had to put everything for the meeting first). A cosy breakfast is not, when people start putting everything away so early.
We will definitely not return, there are better choices in the allgäu.
Good hotel with a nice swimmingpool
Maria Louise Hon 20/09/2016 09:18We had a nice, clean room. We liked the swimmingpool and the outside area where you can lie in the sun. The only thing we missed was an airconditiong in our room.The breakfast is good and you can eat well in the restaurant.
Great quiet place close to the A7!
Sebastiano Gon 06/09/2016 08:47Room was very big and very well equipped, big spa, wonderful breakfast. Overall cleanliness very high. helpful and professional staff, classic outlook, but very modern rooms, definitly worth the money.
