Located outside of town with a great view.
TVeerkampon 11/07/2017 15:55The hotel is very well catered and has an incredible view of the area. Close to walking paths to gone for or bike, which can be borrowed at the hotel. Most rooms have a balcony with the view. The food is great and the service as well. Only downside, was that during our stay the WIFI was out of service. No elevator to get to rooms, if that is important or required.
Great stay as always
TightLoopson 25/05/2017 13:51We stayed three nights at the Terrassenhotel in Isny. As always, everything was very good: service, room, bed, bathroom, breakfast. The hotel has a very nice stretch of the River Untere Argen for flyfishing. Very recommendable.
Too expensive for what it has to offer
MBGtravelleron 24/09/2016 13:35We stayed one night at the hotel for a Wedding that took place in the same facility.
The quality of the rooms was very bad even though we had selected an upper range room. The space is very small, leaving little room for manoeuvring luggage.
The decoration is old (1970s style) and not particularly functional.
The rooms were not properly clean. The bathroom in particular was - to the price and standard or the room - was problematic. besides the lack of a in-depth cleaning, the water came out of the shower (yes, expensive room and no bath tap) because the doors could not properly close.
The service at the check-in and check-out was unfriendly, which it did not compensate for the lack of charm of the place. Certainly not a welcoming experience.
The region is beautiful and the location is prime. But I am sure there must be better options out there to enjoy the region than this hotel.
Breathtaking views a perfect accompaniment to dinner
CountryMauson 26/07/2016 21:06Recently had dinner at the Terassen. Good selection of wines to enjoy on the terrace overlooking the forests surrounding Isny. Fine dining menu accommodates most palates and portion sizes are huge. I had the rissotto - best Ive had in a long time. Service was excellent and we will definitely return.
Average hotel, neither good nor bad..

- very bad internet connection
- very small bathrooms & rooms
- needs renovation in some areas
- expensive restaurant
- big terraces but open only partially closed which means you are pretty close to your neighbours
- not very close to the center and no close transportation
