EuropeanbyHearton 15/08/2017 15:40This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. Each time the staff is so nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and attractive and I must say, after a long travel day, the beds are so comfortable. There is a nice outside area where you can enjoy a drink and snacks.
Sightseeing in Charlston
JacksonClayon 04/08/2017 23:15It was just adequate. For a newer building it seemed kind of dirty and rundown. We didn't spend much time in our room so it was ok. I will say the people at the front desk were friendly and very helpful but I'm pretty sure we won't be staying here again.

Sandbartenderon 29/07/2017 00:16the room was clean, but like that kind of "too clean" where all you smell is bleach/cleaning supplies. the lobby bar ("xyz") was cool, sweet pool table, nice selection. the food was really really slow to come out (25 mins for chicken tenders and a caesar salad). the bartender was good, but said the kitchen staff was new and the oven was "really small." so maybe not the best place to dine. there were a ton of really loud people on our floor, and the people next to us tried to open the shared door at one point. sketchy. i don't think the outlet mall location is a positive. would give a solid 2.5 if i could.
This is ALoft?!? Maybe by name but that's it! Terrible!
Kristin Gon 24/07/2017 01:59I was seriously disappointed at this hotel. I have stayed at ALoft Hotels before and extremely concerned this one is the worst ever! The staff was unprofessional and although wearing ALoft polo shirts two of the men had their pants down past their rear ends to show off their boxers. So unprofessional!
The room needs a complete redo, severely worn out. In the morning when I went to check out and grab something from the downstairs deli I was told "kitchen is closed and we don't got any breakfast food"
Complete fail here, and I will never go back to this location. After I am finished here I am writing to Marriott.
Worst Aloft experience ever
on 18/07/2017 02:05If you can please avoid this hotel if at all possible. The entire hotel was bug ridden. I mean big huge water bugs at the hotel as tho they where VIP guests. This was by far the worst hotel experience my wife and I have ever had. They moved us from one room after seeing multiple bugs to send us to another room which also had a bug issue, and then stated there isn't to much they can do about it as people bring the bugs with them from home (really) it was the worst I will never stay here again even if this was the last hotel on earth I would just stay home and not think about a vacation !!! But there was a silver lining in it all the front desk was very friendly if I must say so they accommodated us as best they could especially one girl who told us this isn't the best aloft in the chain and she wishes that she owned it cause she would make a lot of changes and ironically enough I truly believed that if she could she would!!!
