Could have been better

Located at a 10-15 min walk from the Roma Termini train station, Aloha Rome is a B&B with a convenient location. We had booked this B&B keeping in mind the nice ratings on tripadvisor and the positive comments about their owners (forgot the names). However, my experience was not the best since I tried calling both of them but could not reach them, and interacted with them only through SMS, which is not convenient everytime. I reached Rome late in the night and needed help with the directions and hence called them up, but there was no response on either of the contact numbers given by them. Eventually I followed the directions given by Google Maps, which led me to the place precisely. The caretaker Mr Jinto (hope I got the name right) was a helpful guy though.

The room was very spacious compared to European standards, and considering the reasonable tariffs offered by them. Being located in an apartment complex, the inside premises seem to be safe and calm. However, some basic amenities in the room were not working like Safe, Hot Water etc.

If your booking includes breakfast, they will give you coupons to a nearby bar which include a croissant and coffee, hardly enough for a breakfast. Hence, if there is an option, do not include breakfast and find a better meal on your own.

The location is not too near the tourist areas, but the metro station is near and hence the connectivity is good.

Overall, it was a very average experience and can be made better by them.

Perfect!

I'm so glad I found this place. Hidden away, Aloha is the perfect place for a short getaway. Dario was great, very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, bed comfortable, bathroom clean. It's also perfectly located. Only about a mile from the colissium and right next to a metro station, this is the place for Rome's sightseers!

Outstanding

We arrived from Naples late on the 23rd of June and we were greeted with a fantastic welcome despite our late arrival. We were given maps etc. with great detail on all the tourist attractions as well as our free breakfast tokens. The room was fantastic. Spacious, A/C, a fantastic shower. I will never hesitate to stay here again. Rome is one of the ultimate cities and Aloha Roma just made it that bit special... walking distance to everywhere in Rome.

Hi me and girlfriend are just about to leave tomorrow after spending a week in this B and B. It's a good location for all local transport especially the metro. We used it with our Roma pass and took out a further 2 days of the local hop on and off ride. For the price we paid you got alot for your money and breakfast was really good and friendly bunch. Would recommend the bar trani.
Fabrizio and dario are brilliant and they will look after you as the best they can. There's lots of facilities to use to computer to wifi and microwave. I hope to come back to Rome soon cause we were disappointed the Trevi fountain was under repairs. Best city break we have had.

A very decent stay

Dario is an excellent host. Not much far from Termini station but little difficult to locate as no big signboard or banner visible. Rooms were very pretty. Had a nice stay. they kept our luggage even after check out hours. very well equipped with all the essential amenities
