The main facilities, bars and restaurants of Alona Beach are then about 5 more minutes walk. Alona 42 Resort was opened in January 2012 and is under German management. The resort currently offers 6 double rooms with spacious terrace in each room for rent. All rooms are comfortable, affordable and secluded in a quiet section of Alona Beach. It offers a tranquil stay with warm welcomes from our Boholano staff. Rooms and Buildings are built to European standards. To relax you can also use our landscaped gardens with tropical plants for soaking up the warm sun or relaxing with a drink in its bar which provides more than adequate seating. Its friendly staff will serve you breakfast, snacks and cold drinks.

We actually arrived late since we decided to have a little side trip from Tubigon to Panglao but I loved the fact that the attendant went out and greeted us with my name. It was like she was waiting for me (us) to arrive. I thank the resort also for giving us complementary drinks! It was what we needed after a tiring day! It was refreshing! ( By the way they let you choose what kind of drink you would like to have. ) The room was lovely! It was big and clean and it smells good! Though there was no pool but it's a few minutes walk to the beach so it's okay! In fact, I think it's better! It's a quiet place where you can relax and unwind - away from the noise of people, vehicles and party music from other resorts! When we stayed there last July 8-10, 2017, the staffs were so friendly and helpful. There was a recent earthquake hence the whole Bohol island was in total blackout so we weren't able to use the aircon through out the stay and it was a bit hard to charge our phones, but the staffs were so helpful they actually allowed us to leave our power banks and phones with them while we go out and explore the island! There was no electricity hence I needed to open the windows and I loved there idea of screened windows! Air could flow in and out without mosquitos coming in! There was not even a single insect found in the room! And oh when we got back from a tiring day, the room was oh so tidy and smells refreshing as ever and the staffs would be there asking how was your day or did you enjoy your trip and etc~ I really had a pleasant stay at Alona42! The next time I will go to Panglao, I would absolutely stay in the same resort! I hope the resort will offer lunch and dinner by then so we don't need to go out for a meal. Thank you Alona42! 👍👍👍

Becca Lon 30/03/2017 13:32Great little mid-range place to stay (though not a resort) - nice sized room, clean, warm shower, comfy and firm bed. Accommodating staff as we had to extend our booking at short notice and they even told us to book online as cheaper than their day rate and let us stay in the same room. Toilet was a little temperamental as the flush valve kept getting caught.
Short walk to the beach through the short cut during the day but longer via the main road at night.
Would be great if it had a pool and included breakfast.

Luk7628on 30/03/2017 04:57Very good quality resort. Small, calm. 250 m from sandy and nice beach. Next to the beach lokal restaurants, bars, scooba diving clubs. You can make a loundry in the resort for normal lokal price as well as rent a motorbike. Very clean rooms and apartments, equipped with air condition. Apartments are bigger and equipped also with fridge and stove. Very helpful stuff. I absolutelly recomand that place.
Relax resort near the beach of Alona
Wesley Don 13/03/2017 13:15A really nice and relaxed resort near the white beach of Alona. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. 7min walk from the beach. 5 min walk from good restaurants and bars. Originally booked for 2 nights, but we added 4 more night to relax here.
