fjerilon 03/02/2014 20:14A nice and cozy hotel with an excellent restaurant (I can recommend the "Fondue Chinoise") and great service. The rooms are not to big, but clean and you find everything to survive a few nights. Unfortunately the Wifi was not working during my stay.
The hotel is located in the center of Lenk and the bus/train station is in a 5min walking distance away.

Fischelson 07/08/2013 09:28We spent a week in Summer, when Lenk is a small but very pleasant village for those who enjoy hiking in the vicinity. The rooms in front of the hotel have a splendid view of the mountains to the South and a good balcony. The hotel is near the railway and busstation. Service is friendly but limited. The restaurant serves fine, original food and the breakfast is lavish. Note that two nights a week there is very noisy entertainment in a nearby tent until late at night, but that should be a nuisance for all hotels in the village.
Great base for Skiing/Boarding in Simmental Valley
Paul Ron 14/10/2009 09:35We travelled here by Train from Basel in around 3 hours. The hotel is jst a short (if icy) walk from the station. It has a dedicated room for ski's and boards just outside the main entrance which is very convenient when returning from a day on the slopes. The lady owner is extremely friendly (as are all the staff) and spoke reasonable English. There is a free WiFi connection, but I had to sit in reception in order to use it. I suspect if you have a room at the front of the Hotel this may not be a problem. Views from the comfortable rooms are varied. We have stayed twice, once overlooking a neighboring street and once with great mountain views. Ask for a room on the front for the best views. Rooms also have a small balcony. It's a bit of a hike to the lift stations, but you can catch the ski bus at the railway station so the walk is optional. Food was regional fare and mostly very tasty, but beware of the Pork speciality ! A great base at very reasonable price (our package included half board & a 5day lift pass for around 640CHF in January 2009)
