Very cheap, but uncomfortable
Olga Son 21/07/2017 22:07We stayed in this hotel in a three-bed appartment for 5 nights, and having read some reviews here, I was expecting a real nightmare... Instead, nothing special happenned. We were enjoying Berlin untill 2-3 a.m., but still did not notice any police/strip bar involved accidents nearby. The location was good, the bathroom was quite spacious, with loads of hot water, and the breakfast was really generous (delicious bree cheese included daily). The main two problems were: 1) noise from the outside and the neighbours, but we were too exhausted to stay awake for these reasons; 2) bad wifi connection - they've repaired it only in three days after our arrival, and it worked only at the reception. The staff is very friendly - there was no problem to ask them for an extra key at 4am, or to print a boarding pass. So, if you are looking for a brief, cheap stay next to the heart of Berlin, it's definitely a good option!
Staff not helpful

We asked for directions to to a female staff about where the train station is but did not help at all. Even looked pissed that we asked her.
Upon leaving the hotel, we asked if there are any drinks available for sale but that particular female staff said there aren't any even if they have a fridge and coffee maker inside the hotel.
We also asked if they could suggest for good food in the area but did not give any name of restaurants that are a must-try when you go visit berlin.

Borja Bon 17/03/2017 03:14Was good and correct. Good location, good service...Isnt luxury but its good. The room is nice, isnt perfect but is good. The bathroom and the room were clean...I think is a very normal hotel, i would return maybe.
Don't book this hotel
Lucia Bon 09/02/2017 17:08This hotel was really disappointing. We just wanted a hotel to sleep in with a shower because we would be gone all day so we didn't mind if it was a bit crappy. It was worth the money. The location is very nice, there's a busstop right in front of the hotel. They clean every day.
But that's it.
We thought that the breakfast was included, so we went and got two glasses of water and 3 banana crisps. (My boyfriend and i have allergies so we planned to eat somewhere else, but we were thirsty). Suddenly the lady came in and asked if we had a breakfast card, we said no and she went to see her boss to say that we didn't have a card. She came back and said that we had to go to her boss. (This bothered me so much, that was so inpolite.) So we went to the reception and talked to the boss, she said the breakfast wasn't included and that we had to pay for those two glasses of water and the banana crisps. It was 13 euros. I couldn't believe it. Then she literally gave us the breakfastcard and said 'go give it to my collegue'.
I cannot believe this happened. When i booked the hotel i asked if they had special food for our allergies but they never responded.
My parents have a succesful hotel, and i worked for a long time in the Ibis hotel so i have a bit of experience when it comes to politeness and i can tell you that there was no sign of it.
The boss and the lady at the breakfast didn't do a good job. The girl and the guy who worked in the mornings and late evenings were very friendly and smiling. The rooms need a rennovation. It's very 90's like. We weren't disturbed by the stripclub's music. I will never come back though.
Basic hotel with good location
herutza2016on 12/12/2016 11:30The hotel is basic but the room itself was upgraded recently, as the furniture looks newer and functional.
Good:
- Location with easy access to center, you can consider walking
- Clean rooms
- M48 and M85 bus has a station right in front of the hotel and will take you to the city center or the main railway
- Underground also close by
- Restaurants and a supermarket withing walking distance
To be improved:
- No wifi in the rooms
- Bathrooms outdated
- Low sound isolation, can be a bit noisy
- General aspect is on the lower end.
Overall it is a good value for the money and we would return if again in Berlin.
