Spacious apartments
Abilio Mon 25/05/2017 17:36The apartment is very well, on two floors. Very spacious.
Very close to the cable car. You can go out and get skiing.
What's wrong with cleanliness. The showers have no bulkhead and the curtains that have been washed for years. Should pay more attention.
The utensils for the cleaning are scarce or nonexistent, then you see in the obligation to pay the cleaning.
Nice apartments next to the ski slope !
Mika_IOIon 30/03/2016 10:45We went to Haute-Nendaz for a short-ski with some friends and had a perfect stay at Le Pracondu 1. The building is only 50 m from the main cabin lift station and bus stop. Shops and backery are just 2 min away but you can even order bread via the reception and get it delivered at 7am every morning !
Ski lockers are located at the groundfloor and are accesible from the ski slope.
Good value for money !
One week ski holiday in family
Francis Ion 20/03/2016 15:07It is a nice residence located just 100m from the ski-lift. The appartment is confortable, lot of space, rooms and beds are Ok. You will find shops and a swimming pool just 50m from the appartement and your ski booth will be located in the parking just in front of the ski-lift. What's really cool in Veysonnaz compared to Nendaz is that there is no queue in the morning at the ski lift. The ski resort is will connected to the 4 valley, so you can ski to Siviez, Thyon, Nendaz and even maybe Verbier if you wake up early. Just a note; since the people can do themselves the cleaning of the appartement, sometimes, it is not well done.
Great stay
Ari Aon 08/03/2016 10:14Located very close to Nendaz station offers ski in / ski out connected to 4 valleys ski resource. Good for family ski and advanced skiers. Quiet location, free wifi, mountain views and close to new spa, shops and restaurants. Good value for money.
Average rooms, impractical for skiers
Zvijeron 26/03/2015 23:03Alpvision has two apartment houses, one next to another, a bit away form the center of the town, but right next to the ski slope.
We stayed in 2+2 room (on double bedroom, and pull out bed). Apartments are not cramped, but full capacity is the limit. It is quite clear that they were designed with two occupants in mind.
Place is clean, but impractical, especially for guest skiers. Whole place has only 3 hooks for hanging coats, and that's it. There are no other hooks or hangers, not even in he bathroom and toilet. You simply don't have no place to leave your things, and skiers ,with all their equipment and garments will soon notice that.
Linen and towels can be rented, but we got set with sheets smaller than beds. We were not the only one.
Bathroom was clean bat small, and toilet is in the separated room with its own sink, wirth more room that it is necessary. bathroom also has only two racks for towels, and lm tied light.
Floors are carpeted with linoleum, and that is good news because it is easier to clean. Since the approach to the reception is not paved, it is easy to get your shoes full of dirt.
Kitchen is integrated in the living room, and has plenty of room and several appliances, but limited number of pots and pans. If you plan to cook larger meal, think about borrowing pans from neighbors.
House has ski room in the basement, with direct exit towards the cabin lift. Again, very impractical, since there are no chairs or benches for people to sit when they change their footwear. Ski lockers are of adequate size, though.
Alpvision is located some five minutes of walk away from the Cabin lift station and bus stop, and four minutes from the first bar. Bakery and general store are on the same distance. it is some twenty minutes uphill from the city center with main stores, but there is a shortcut - funicular just across the road.
Good news is that everything is close at hand, but bad news is that Nendaz is not a great ski destination. Runs are limited, and snow melts very fast. Only one slope was operating in march, and next valley is 20 minutes of a bus ride away. Even there, there is a lot of connecting runs to get to either Verbier to Veysonaz, so prepare to travel a lot. beginner skiers might have problems with that.
If you really must ski in Verbier, this might be good budget option.
I think this is better base for spring to autumn hiking trips than for skiing.
