The hotel is located in about 45 minutes drive from the International airport in the city of Caracas. I stayed over night to catch my International flight the next afternoon.
Hotel gives high discount in tariff to companies and corporates.
My company had booked a suite for me in January, 2017. The room had micro wave, hot plate, utensils etc. 2 water bottle are complimentary in the room.
Breakfast is complimentary along the pool, with restaurant.
Two ATM of the Bank are available in the ground floor to withdraw local currency. It has an upper limit of 500 bs at one time. Thank God one ATM was working that day.
The front desk has English and Spanish speaking staff on duty 24 hours for the guests.

This is a very well located hotel.
If you are in caracas for business and are concerned about security this is a good place to be.
It has five restaurants and a bar with a commercial centre fill john profile shops to meet the best needs for gifts with high quality products.
Totally recomended for your meetings and good service overall

The hotel is new but the maintenance is scarce. The personnel is friendly and despite limitations they do their best. Breakfast is includes and is OK nothing special. In the night the restaurants in the same shopping mall are good, yet expensive for what they offer if you compare them with those in the same area.

The rooms are nice and spacious, of a very good size, comfortable and well equipped. They could use a more cleaning in the bathroom pieces.
The hotel is one of the newest in Caracas and is located at a complex filled with restaurants and some good shops. The complex itself is like a bubble, self-contained, with good restaurants -Thai, Japanese, Sushi, Italian, Arabian, and others- so you don´t really need to go out for lunch or dinner.
The hotel has its own restaurant at the top floor which has an astonishing view of Caracas mountain, the Avila. But... we could not have coffee because there was no sugar and no fried eggs at breakfast because they did not have frying oil. Had to say it, even though I guess it might be true for many places at Caracas these days.
I liked it, would return and would recommend it.

The bad:
Its an aged hotel, elevators dont work properly, noise on rooms is pretty annoying (and we had a 16th floor suite), old style CRT tv.
The Good:
Located in (probably) the best/safe/nicer part of Caracas, great restaurant with more than average food, superb 360 bar on top floor when you can see the great mess Caracas is. The pool is heated and opens late.
I would avoid Caracas again altogether, but in case I have to go back again... Altamir woud be my place of choice.
