2017Helenon 15/01/2017 19:24This is a clean and spacious hotel. Breakfast is excellent and there is much dining space. Service is professional and plenty of guidance was on offer at reception for the visitor. Location is good for the university but also for the town
Convenient city-centre location with friendly staff
KasoViajeroon 19/12/2016 23:44While apparently a bit difficult to get to by car due to its location in the pedestrianised part of the city centre, the hotel is an easy walk away from the train station; it's off a small square and very quiet at night. My room was spacious, the interior was modern and comfortable, and I slept well - the only downside being that the curtains are too transparent to darken the room properly. Breakfast was great, with a good choice and fresh products; staff was very friendly and professional throughout, from check-in over breakfast to checkout.
Ideal City location
Fuxx2010on 05/10/2015 01:55Location in the heart of Oldenburg ideal for shopping and dining in the pedestrian area. Public parking close by. Service and hotel breakfast very good. Rooms basic and furnitures had their best times long ago. Bathroom was smelly due to shower sink blockade. Hotel not worth the price.
Good city hotel with friendly staff

Overall good hotel with very central location. Nearby parking is acceptable but I felt a bit unhappy with my sportscar in there over night. On the other hand very cheap and it worked fine.
Rooms are very small ( 406 ) and have the terasse that the neighbouring rooms can use as well. I found it very disturbing that there were no real blinds to make it dark. So I woke up around 7 from the light and the city cleaning that drove around noisy and long. Also I had the same with the bathroom - very small and a bit dated. Not worn down but you had the feel of something old. The bed was very good. Perfect mattress BUT has someone thought about men ( or women ) that do not have the shoulders of a child ? I felt like no room to move without falling out. Understandable if the room is so small that you do not want to put a normal bed into it.
The breakfast was okay. Friendly service but who wants self-baked bread if the bakery is just around the corner ? Not good and not meeting the expectations of an owner that wants to serve also gourmet experiences ! The other things were fine. Fresh fruits and a good selection of stuff. Another comments mentioned the small size - that is correct but also it is acceptable not throwing tons away that noone would eat ! Keep going on with realistic quantities.
Overall I tend to think that the prices are too high compared to what others in OL have to offer. The restaurants are very nice but I was there for sleeping and for that money you can get better value in town ( check my other reviews ).
Real plus is the location from where you can enjoy the beautiful center of Oldenburg best.
Best business hotel in Oldenburg
Pelham23on 12/09/2015 21:49Rooms are cosy, beds are comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, fresh juices and good scrambled eggs. Hotel is in central Oldenburg with loads of restaurants around. Cheap parking space close by.Been there dozens of times.
