What People are saying

Lovely staff

Kevin Aon 03/08/2017 19:23

The hotel isn't particularly memorable ... though it was clean and well memorable which is always a bonus. Also I wasn't there long enough to try out the (outdoor) pool but I wanted to leave a review because the staff were so good.
The restaurant was closed (it was a Sunday evening) but the young woman on reception offered to cook us some pasta which was excellent.
The buffet breakfast (12 Euro) was ok (though the scrambled eggs were outstandingly tasty .. and again everyone on duty was friendly and extremely polite .. even at 6 a.m.
Thank you to everyone involved.

More negatives then positives

Disappointing stay, after reading other reviews i wasn't surprised. Stayed with Newmarket holidays so had no choice. Negatives....no air conditioning really hot stuffy room so couldn't sleep......twin room one of the beds was a small put you up bed with an old blanket on, not comfortable.......silly key cards didn't work half the time so had to keep going to reception to reset......poor choice of breakfast and they didn't restock when running out, i asked for bread and was told "no more bread today!" When I complained she managed to find some but I shouldn't have to put myself out ......menu in restaurant was no choice at all, trouble was it wasn't near anywhere else.....silly flimsy plastic cups to drink tea from in your room.
Positives....nice clean room......nice outside area...and lovely receptionist Clemence who was very helpful of a couple of occasions. Would not stay again.

Wouldn't stay here again, unless you paid me!

The hotel is in the middle of an industrial area, so you're a captive audience if you want to eat. Restaurant only had meat on the menu, so no good if you're a vegetarian or vegan. There was a bar, but you couldn't get any 'snacks' apart from a Snickers Bar for €2. We only stayed here as we were on a tour with Newmarket Travel.

Our tour manager told us it was fine to order food in, so we tried to order a pizza from outside for our son,who is autistic and very fussy about food, but was told by a pompous, jumped up individual on reception that it was illegal to bring food into the hotel, yet another lady on reception phoned an order through for another couple with no problem!

The room was very warm so we left the window open, however the hotel is right next to a very busy road, so a light sleeper might be kept awake by the constant drone of traffic.

The only nice thing I can say about this place is it was nice to be able to sit outside on the patio (even with the noise of the traffic).

If you stay here make sure you stock up with snacks/nibbles or you'll go hungry! 🍕

Definitively not a fours stars hotel

Athletes stayed in that hotel during the hottest period of June and there was no airconditioning. Rooms were not always twins but double with an additional bed. Not good for preparation for championship. Carpets not ideal in rooms. Hotel needs a real refreshment. Pool very small. Food was average.
Very nice park and large parking. However without a car cannot reach hotel - taxi too expensive.
Personnel however always very helpful.

Literally the worst horel

My bed broke in the middle of the night, and upon further inspection, I saw that the slats holding up the mattress were indeed supported by blue tack. The mattress also felt like something out of American Horror Story. Also the colour scheme is disrespectful, and the food was a bit rubbish tbh. Would not recommend
