Credit card charged for a minibar even though we did not use it.
Milosz01on 16/08/2017 14:41Everything was fine until just before our departure.
Upon check out, very unpleasant lady at the reception, in a nasty way announced that we have to pay for a minibar, although we did not use it. We told her that it was a mistake however after coming back home we discovered that our credit card was being charged.
It was a very unprofessional. Such a pity!
Quiet ok
Michael Gon 10/08/2017 16:52Stayed there for a conference. Hotel is outside of the town but therefore the outdoor pool is a big plus. Room equipment and furniture is ok but nothing special. Breakfast didn't meet my expectations in terms of variety and also quality or freshness. Staff at the breakfast restaurant could be more active and attentively.
Nice property but very noisy
Pabloston 09/08/2017 22:19We stayed a night from Saturday to Sunday and we were shocked that there was a private party downstairs and we could hear the music so loud! When I called reception to complain I was told the party will continue until 3AM.
Not the best night, specially when you are traveling with children, and I guess guest relations should inform guests about it before hand. On the check out, many people were complaining.
Other than that, the hotel is nice, the rooms comfortable and the facilities are really nice.
Over Priced
LawrenceTTTon 06/08/2017 22:27It was our Wedding Anniversary and we had asked for a bucket of ice from the bar for our room.. " Yes sir, that will be €6..." Astounded, I actually went to reception to explain it was our anniversary and that I was unhappy about the charge for ICE.. Sorry, we can't help you... Nice one Alvisse Parc! The food is mediocre but extremely over priced. We had to push in the key switch to get it to work because of faulty electrics..
Good hotel with slow Internet
johan6688on 02/08/2017 08:44The hotel is located about 3km outside the city, thus a car is good to have. There is lots of available parking spaces. Some further away than others. Rooms are nice and mid-sized. They have a large indoor pool, one kids pool with a slide built-in and a swimming one outdoors. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection of both cold and warm dishes. They had issues with Internet, which in principle made it useless. Service was good
