Summer Getaway in Ancient Village
Simon Kon 06/08/2017 05:33Escaping from the hot summer days here, listening to the birds and songs of cicadas. Delighted with the cool AC in the villa for the summer weather. Enjoy the scrolls along the resort paths to the Lingyin Temple, especially in the evening. Resort staff were forever lovely and helpful.

mimi720on 26/07/2017 14:24a real life of antient time, the dream live in a villiage come true but never need tolerate real villiage in many place where are dirty environment or inconvenient. it protected the local environment and nothing destroy, all staff by walking, only use car to send customers or lugguges. can look around at least 3-5 temples if u have time stay 2 days
Nice idea
Pascal Mon 13/07/2017 13:38We liked the idea a lot with the small village, but as it is open for public the atmosphere is not that special. The restaurants were very expensive compared to other nice restaurants in hangzhou, as well the hotel. We had a super huge room, but would expect a bit more for this price. Very nice is to visit the temple nearby. The staff was very friendly and treated us very well.
Another Amazing Aman Property
Shane1234_12on 27/05/2017 03:01I cannot recommend highly enough. It certainly lives up to the Aman standards and promise. Perfectly located, it really does feel like an ancient village, but with a luxurious touch. In response to one of the reviews, the muted lighting is intentional and to send you back in time, it really added to the mood. Service is fabulous, good restaurants to walk to. The rock buddhas are truly special, as are the local temples and activities. This is a place that will linger in our memories.

trevinoeoceneru49691on 21/05/2017 14:06Our guide mira gave us the recommendation of the restaurant in Amanfayun. The food was delicious. The decoration of the restaurant is in ancient chinese style. Average cost: around 300RMB for each. Great recommendation!
