Nice from the Outside

Gorgeous building and lobby. The room was average, but clean. Bed was firm. The restaurant was only open for breakfast which was a let down. We stayed there only one night and didn't really explore Bogota.

So we where in this hotel in the start of vacations and then we leave to explore Colombia, everything was so nice they give us breakfast, people was so nice. We have to came back to Bogota so we decide to pay our reservation like 20 days before we came back. Yesterday at 10pm we arrive to the hotel and they tell us that they don't have rooms but they will pay us another hotel!! The worst part is that we paid our reservation 20 days before!! Anyways they paid another hotel for this night but we have came back today at 2pm to make the check in that means half of the day without doing nothing! That is very irresponsible

Nice hotel, situated in an unsafe area

The hotel is fine, clean rooms, wifi, and the staff were attentive. But potential guests need to be aware that the hotel is situated in a poor area, and they need to take great care when walking the adjacent streets, during both the daytime and the night time. It is very unsafe to walk around these streets and I am speaking from personal experience. The hotel front door is locked from the inside most of the time, and for good reason. In six months travelling through South America, this is the most dangerous area I have ever been in. This is not the fault of the hotel or the staff, but potential guests need to be made aware that the hotel is an unsafe area. Be extremely careful, don't carry lots of cash or personal belongings, mobile phones, etc, and consider taking taxis to and from the hotel.

We stayed here the first night and tried to resolve a problem, the administrator of the hotel COMPLETELY IGNORED US and called a taxi specifically to leave and avoid the problem. She refused to talk to us completely and would not refund our money because this is a scam. The price is cheap yes, but the service is a complete disaster in administration. Do not waste your time and money in this crap. It is in a very dangerous neighborhood and they have to lock and open the door everytime someone comes in or leaves. They also refused to fulfill their commitment to rent us a crib for our 4 month old baby that they offered on their webpage. Liars and unfulfilled promises. Worst experience in a hotel

The hotel is ok and the staff are helpful at giving directions etc. The rooms were cleaned everyday. Breakfast was good, they do not serve lunch or dinner but will order food to be delivered. if you have a room on the outside of the building it is very very loud. Dogs barking and lorries driving by all night. The windows do very little to keep the noise out. The area is in walking distance of Candelaria.
