Good modern hotel very close to the Lake and pedestrian area
DonnaCHon 24/07/2017 16:43The Ambassador is located very near the lake, the Lion Monument, a grocery store (Coop), several restaurants, and small shops. Rooms are clean and modern, room size was good, bathroom was large enough, and beds were comfortable. There was also a fridge but no coffee maker. Breakfast was average for Switzerland - mainly a cold buffet with meats, cheese, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cereals, fruits, yogurt, and various breads. The TV was relatively small for a room its size. A major negative was that there was no AC. A large pedestal fan was provided but with temperatures over 82 in the room, it was very uncomfortable. The hotel provides a free transport card which we did not use since we were able to walk most anywhere. If AC is important to you, you would have to look elsewhere and probably choose a 4 or 5 star hotel. Parking is available for a fee at an underground garage next to the hotel.

Sikander Kon 15/07/2017 16:10The best hotel interns of location advantage, the hotel is located in the middle of the city. The public transport station just down the hotel building. The impeccable service offered by the front desk staff members, very helpful and informative staff members. Rooms are spacious and clean. I recommend this hotel for future visitors.
Good modern hotel near downtown
Cecioon 06/06/2017 11:51The position is very good--extremely close to certain attractions (like the Lion Monument, for example) and easy walking distance to the others (Covered Bridge, Rathaus, etc.). The hotel also provides a free public transport card so you can reach other destinations by bus. Rooms are modern, clean, functional and well-appointed. Staff is friendly and helpful.
On the negative side, breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about. Staff forgot to tell us all the parking options (parking around here is super-expensive). On one night it was quite hot in the bedroom and we wished we'd had AC.
value for money and a very nice place to stay

Spacious rooms - ours had a nice balcony which one could step out to and also large windows.. 5 minute walk from the Chapel bridge with access to all the cafes and restaurants. Tram and bus stop just outside the main entrance - 2 stops from the main train station as well!!
Above average breakfast was included in the room charges. They have a locker room next to the reception in case if you want to leave your luggage for a few hours after the checkout.

deep90guptaon 25/05/2017 02:55Our tour started with crisp 3 days stay here in Luzern. We are still in a spellbound state. It's not a very upscale hotel but a great place to stay. Front office is excellent with all lady affair. All of them are hospitable and ready to help to full. Room was great comfort. Breakfast was great. Fresh fruit tea will keep you refreshed. Accessibility from Train station was Fabulous. Most buses touch this hotel. There are good shopping areas.
Departmental store and Supermarket is bang adjacent. Subway is available from 9- 6.30 pm.
Lion monument is bang opposite.
We will love to come back here to stay time and again.
