Friendly staff, dated hotel
RipleySkyeon 17/08/2017 20:55This hotel is easy to get to, only a short distance from the autobahn. There is an Aldi opposite for supplies. It is about a 20 minute walk to the main restaurant area in the town which has plenty of choice. There is an underground carpark but you cannot fit a large van 8-9 seater in there as the ceiling is quite low. Check-in was straight forward. The staff at reception were very polite and spoke good English. Excellent location, only a short distance to main tourist locations nearby. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.This is a DATED hotel in desperate need of a face-lift, our room smelt and looked more like an old people's home than a hotel room.

Horhe64on 05/08/2017 10:34Check in well performed after arrival in spacious garage, which has an easy access to the reception. Hotel a bit hard to find because of construction work near main road and sign in a blind spot. drive slowly. Room on 2nd floor recently renovated in good style, large well enough for two persons. Breakfast way better than average. Staff very friendly helping you in any questions whatsoever.
Beware of bus tours staying at the hotel!
Funloving5on 09/06/2017 20:40The hotel is nestled at the foot of the alps, so it is in a beautiful setting. The hotel is certainly dated, but we stayed 2 nights and were comfortable. The staff was really friendly and helpful and all wore traditional dress which was wonderful to see. The kids swam in the deep swimming pool which could just about hold 5 teenagers, they then came running from the sauna area once the newly arrived naked guests tried to show them how to enjoy a real sauna, lol. The breakfast was good the first morning. The second morning was a disaster as the bus load of tourists staying the night before ascended upon us! The staff tried their best to keep them to one area of the restaurant, but we still had to battle our way to the buffet and it felt as if the locusts had arrived as there was noting left. The staff did their best to replenish but it was not worth the battle. They apologized to us, but the damage was done, we couldn't wait to get out and start our day. We ate at the hotel restaurant and were very pleased with the food and service. I had the beefburger which was so tasty!
Nice hotel and good value
John Con 01/10/2016 10:07Arrived by car. Hotel is set back from the main road but the satnav found it easily.
Excellent car parking garage.
Just across the road from the bus station and 5 minutes to shops restaurants etc.
The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly and efficient.
Particularly liked the buffet breakfast and the swimming pool.
No problems here and good value for money. Would stay here again.
All the green made the stay
Reija Hon 12/09/2016 18:48So beautiful area and garden. Kind service and lovely town. The air was good to breath. Only problem was the navigation. The address was somehow leading wrong and we had to struggle with zero German trying to ask or understand the way there.
