Poor Service and Facilities

This hotel is far below being a 4 star hotel as they publish. Rooms are not well decorated, the main needs are not available (such as hangers, they are all broken, wardrobe small and dirty, not enough electrical plugs), towels are very dirty, TV is old with very few channels.
However, the hotel is very quite, breakfast is rich, yet not well organized, it is very difficult to open all plastic coverings on each plate to serve yourself. Staff at the restaurant is not helpful at all, they do not welcome the guest, they do not even say hello or good morning. The reception staff is polite and a bit more communicative. My company reserved me there, yet I would never return to this hotel in the future.

When I booked my trip this place was the best price. Good hotel, nice staff. Free pickup and drop off at the airport. They were very helpful in booking tours and trips.
Slightly far from the main attractions though so be prepared to either cab or bus to the old city and surrounding area.

I have checked in standard room in morning as arrived to Baku. Definitely visited my room for the bathroom, the toilet was not flushing. However, I had to leave for a meeting. I informed the administrator about it and paid before leaving the hotel to come back later. When I got back by the afternoon in 6 hours and all other rooms were given. I couldn't anyhow change my room so wanted to check out from the hotel. But the administrator and hotel manager created all kind of problems in order charging for the room and refused to paying back.
