A Pleasant Surprise
Richard Bon 04/07/2017 00:29I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised at how clean, quiet and comfortable this hotel was. There was a boy's baseball tournament going on and the large number of boys and their families, the hotel handled everything well. I was mildly disappointed there was no elevator in the hotel and it is a fairly long climb up the stairs.
Definitely fit our needs
RRM45on 03/07/2017 18:05Our 2 baseball teams recently visited and stayed 2 nights. That is about 22 - 11 and 12 year old boys with their families! And, overall - it went well. The pool was a big hit, as was the outside patio off the pool! Some adults were "bummed" that the hot tub had been filled in, but that was minor. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. They opened up the breakfast room for both teams to have pizza and salad dinner. The rate was VERY affordable for 2 nights! And the location was perfect! Right off I-96 and just a mile from downtown Portland!

Jack Bon 27/04/2017 21:07We were pleasantly surprised at this motel. It was very clean and comfortable. A pool and hot tub as well. A breakfast is offered in the morning as well. The location worked well for us since it was about 15 minutes from the Ionia fairgrounds. A number of eating establishment are in the area, we ate at the China Buffet right near the motel. Arby's, Burger King, and others in the area. Supermarket across the street also has a Little Caesar's and coffee bar. It can however be tricky entering their parking lot off of the interstate. We did a turn around and search several times! Turn into the Arby's and go down the hill passing the Quaker Lube station.

Chulee49on 25/04/2017 19:24I gave the hotel a 4 for facilities and condition as the group we were with like to use the whirlpool/hot tub in the evenings and the jets were not working. The lady at the desk told us when we inquired at check-in but we used it anyway without the jets. It was ok but if it was working properly would have been wonderful. That is the only negative comment about the stay. The room was clean and nice, nice breakfast and would stay there again if in the area.

Tray hon 02/04/2017 03:43The staff was very nice and worked with our group wonderfully! We booked 14 rooms and everybody was pleased with the rooms and everything in between. I recommend this hotel to all! The rooms and the entire grounds seem to be taken care of very good!
