Nice inn with great customer service in Brattleboro

The breakfast spread (included) is fantastic--make your own waffles, cereal, tea, coffee, juices, etc.

The rooms are clean and pretty standard. The hotel staff are friendly and the layout of the hotel is cool in its chalet-style.

Long weekend in Brattleboro

Clean, with a good-sized room with the amenities we were looking for (microwave, fridge, coffeemaker). Housekeeping was great, and the lady at the front desk was very pleasant and informative about local restaurants and sights and such. I give the Black Mountain Inn an "Average" only because it's a mid-range price hotel and the continental breakfast was basic, and it was what one would expect. Altogether, we will come back to the Black Mountain Inn when we're in the Brattleboro area.

Wonderful stay

My wife and I decided to go to Brattleboro for the weekend to do some shopping and enjoy some of the finer restaurants, the first night we stayed in a motel that I would rather not talk about, The second night we did some research on the Black Mountain Inn, and based on the reviews we read we decided to take a chance, we ended up having one of the best blessings of the weekend to be able to stay there, as soon as you walk in you are greeted with a beautiful fish pond,many beautiful plants,and a wonderful host behind the counter, The room was exceptionally clean an exceptionally large, all the linens where is white as the fallen snow, but the best treat was when it was our time to check out the next morning, we went down for probably one of the best continental breakfast in all of Brattleboro, you can make your own waffles, they had many things to choose from I would say it was beyond a Continental breakfast, we were greeted by the owner"TINA"Who took the time to tell us about the history of the Inn and we shared a conversation about everything from Health to the journey itself, I would absolutely 100% recommend anybody that does not want to spend a lot of money but would like a lot of quality to look at this place and check in thank you TK O'Sullivan

I came into town later in the evening after a day of shopping with my daughter and stayed at the Black Mountain Inn. They were extremely courteous, helpful and welcoming. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely spacious. It came equipped with a microwave, small refrigerator and a coffee maker on top of all of the other amenities you would expect to find. The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable and afforded me one of the best nights sleep that I've had in months!

Nice for the price, close to restaurants & downtown

I spent several days here, waiting for my new house. The first floor room was great, I pulled right up & unloaded my bags right into the room. There are no smoking signs on the doors & there was no smoke odor. The only problem I had, was coming back at 1 AM & finding myself locked out of my room. I went back & forth to the front desk 4 times, before they came over & electronically opened my door. The next morning, when I tried to go out, the door wouldn't lock. I didn't want to leave my stuff in an unlocked room so I called the desk. They had the note from the night before & said people were coming. They did, 4 hours later, I wasted a day. Another room was never offered. It turns out that the batteries in the door lock were dead. Otherwise, this a good place & I slept well. I'd stay here again.
