Stay on Trip to Niagara falls

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is quite beautiful, stores are nearby.
The hotel lacks restaurant facility but provides breakfast at morning upto 9 only.
The hotel is good, clean andmore or less maintained. Staffs clean the rooms daily.
Room includes bed, microwave oven- small, fridge - small, CRT tv, and clean washroom.
It has a pool outside, but Don't expect more here.
They have cut down 3 trees,may bel looking to expand, but trees beside pool side should have been better.
Location wise 3.6 miles from the falls and gas station , food, outlets are nearby in walkable distance.

Nightmare from start to finish

When we arrived at the hotel we saw the sign for Jacuzzi/bedrooms. As we had already booked this hotel I asked how much extra it would cost to increase our room to the suite. We upgraded our room, brought our cases into the room sat at the little table to contact the free wifi. It buffed and buffed and when I went to front desk I was told that there was a lot of guests using the wifi and we would have to come to the front lobby to connect. As I had paid a substantial amount of money to upgrade our room and without the wifi connection it made no sense to remain I went back to front desk and asked for a refund and went back to our original room. She issued me a refund but her attitude was noted. When we got back after rushing out for our tea we noticed the state of our room. It had obviously not seen a vacuum in months. Cobwebs, faulty lights, stains on the walls were but a few of the problems but when we were getting ready to go to bed we noticed that we had only three pillows!!!!! I went to reception but there was no one there. The doors were all opened and that security was zilch. I went back to the room and dialled the number given at the front desk. I asked for another pillow and was told that the room already had three pillows and she wouldn't give me another one. In fact she asked if a third person was staying in the room. How can 2 people sleep with three pillows??? I have asked for a fourth pillow in many hotel/motel and never have I been refused. I actually rang her back bzut she put me on hold to deal with a costumer at the front desk. The math does not add up 1.5 pillow per person. We have booked a second night unfortunately but rest assured I will be writing to the complaints department regarding the mannerism of the staff and the filthy rooms that they are presenting to the traveller. We have stayed in many hotels/motels across America and I can honestly say this is by far the worst I dread to think what breakfast will be like. Yes we search the internet for the best price as we are traveling for three weeks but if this hotel comes up and YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT STAYNG, TAKE MY ADVISE...... AVOID COMPLETELY. -1*

Motel is good for the price.

Good. Getting checked in took a little longer than anticipated. The continental breakfast was okay. Room was a good size for the price. I believe we would have no problem staying there for another trip.

poor service bad smell of smoke. people yelling at the front desk. 30 minute line to check in. awful. dirty. disappointed with this hotel. breakfast 6-9. stayed at other best value and this is the worst.

The price and proximity to the Falls is what drew us to this hotel, but we were not prepared for what it had in store. When we arrived, there was a dead seagull just feet from the entrance. Nobody thought to do anything about it, so we saw it through states of decomposition every time we entered the hotel. The room was disgusting. Stains on everything, the lights didn't work, no TV remote, very obviously not vacuumed, swept or mopped, spiderwebs in every corner, and an unbearable smell throughout the room and halls. We stayed one night because we got back from the Falls so late and didn't have a choice. We returned to the room after our second day at the Falls and decided to abandon ship. We packed everything and left, choosing to pay for another hotel rather than stay a second night. Staff was uncooperative and very hard to find. There were no security measures and all of the outside doors were left unlocked. I have stayed in some crappy places while trying to stick to a modest budget, but this was by far the worst and grossest place I've ever been. I will be requesting a full refund. I urge anyone to think twice before stepping foot in that nightmare.
