Unexpected delay due to weather, needed to stay in LSL for the night.

Although the young lady was new to the job, I believe she'd only been there a week; she was very courteous and professional. I needed a room to stay in Lake St. Louis MO due to in climate weather. I was very grateful to find a room. And as for the room itself, well dated and well - - not the cleanest... but I was very grateful like I said for the young ladies promptness and professionalism especially as she was overrun by other travelers etc. that were also needing rooms. She did a wonderful job and would not hold a housekeeping situation against her. Thank you to America's Best Inn LSL.

Avoid at all costs!

I picked this from the highway and what a mistake that was! Let's start with the good- the receptionist was the best and they back up to a really fine Mexican restaurant. On the other hand, the room was recurring nightmare on many levels. The carpet was very dark which made it perfect for hiding all sorts of horrors. There was the dead beetle that stuck to my sock that turned out to be almost an inch long. So I put my shoes back on. There was the long curling hair between the beds, proving that it had not been vacuumed before my arrival. For how long before, I know not. Then there was the exceptionally skeevy white "thing" on the carpet, again between the beds, that was obviously a product of the human body but this is not the appropriate forum to guess what part of the body it came from. There were burn holes in the bedspread. And there was no extra furniture or decorations in the room at all. The bathroom seemed cleaner but I was already spooked. I tried not think about what or how many of what I was sharing the bed with. I apologize to the receptionist for the low rating on service but with the cleaning staff missing I have no choice. My room was at the end of the line, right next to the annex with trash all over the floor and the bright "Not fit for human habitation" sign on the window. The place was a complete dump and I was only too happy to be gone at 4:00 the next morning. This place is to be avoided at all costs!!

Run down, flea bag, dumpy 'hotel'. Most of the rooms are condemned by the city. The pool is closed for repairs and looks like it could fall away from the building at any moment.

Pretty sure the carpets have never been cleaned.

Just disgusting, absolutely disgusting.

I've been in worse! I would stay here again!

The room is definitely outdated....
The room was clean and smelled fine, we are in 125 and probably will be for close to a month. Then on to the next job. We are right beside the condemned rooms and it isn't affecting this room at all. Porch is cool although they should pick up the trash out their. This space is wasted in the aspect this could be the Motel that sets ABVI above the rest. (In cheap Motels) Beautiful property but could use some TLC!

Where do i start. Half the rooms have huge signs that say not safe for humans to stay in them, when i asked they said they were fixing windows. Pool not open. They said they are redoing deck. Just looks closed to me.No working ice machine because they are tearing out the hot tub/jacuzzi, whatever they had in that room. What hotel has NO ice machine? THIS ONE!!!. Burn holes in the sheets, pillow cases and blankets. Trash on the floor. Rooms very outdated. Steps very steep. They do not even supply soap to wash your hands. Had an icebox and microwave but neither worked. said free breakfast but would not eat there after what the rest of the hotel was like. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL.DEFINITELY NOT WORTH WHAT WE PAID TO STAY THERE.
