Clean, cheap, pet-friendly
Pacsnowon 05/06/2017 20:41We needed a room on the way home with a new pet. Found this hotel online, and booked as we drove into town. The management was very friendly and helpful. The room was by no means fancy, but it was clean and well-kept. We got a great recommendation from the manager for a local take-out burger/fries type of place down the road that's been around since the 1950s, and it was great.
My only complaint is that our room was on the first floor, in a corner by an outdoor table. Through the course of the evening 5-6 people were hanging out there, smoking and drinking, and the noise would have been a real issue had we not been super exhausted. So ask for a room on the second floor and away from that corner area!
Great Location and Value Priced
DonWckson 02/05/2017 18:22The room was average but the location of the Hotel was worth it as you can walk everywhere to shops and restaurants. I really liked the town of Pendleton. It was budget priced as well. I skipped the free breakfast and ate at the Rainbow Cafe instead. Very cool.
Perfect for what it is
busymumsyon 22/02/2017 17:35We wanted an inexpensive clean room on a road trip and we needed a good place to have a dog.
The staff was very warm and friendly, the breakfast had the usual simple offerings, the room was clean, there was a desk with a plug so I could catch up on work, the bed was good.
For us the best feature was the location, walk down a block or so toward the back and cut through the parking lot to a nice trail along the Umatilla River! We walked several blocks to a grassy area and dog bags provided, several more blocks to a city park. It was a fantastic spot for an on leash walk that was safe from traffic and could tire out our dogs who'd been stuck in the car all day.
Too Much Presumption
Jim Pon 20/11/2016 19:26When we got there the room reserved had not been cleaned or made up, so they assigned us another room, the key didn't so back to the office again, they came back with me and tried it didn't work for them nor did their master key, they tried the room next door with the master key it did not work either, they went back got another key so we got into that room. Place is well kept, surface clean (not in corners or above shoulder ).Breakfast was your standard free breakfast, however waffle batter watered down, flowed into waffle maker OK but pretty thin when cooked as water evaporated. The breaker was tripped on toaster and microwave as no power to them, no one around to tell, so the only choice was the thin waffles. The staff was friendly enough but presumed too much, never checked on rooms keys power for breakfast etc. The rate was reasonable but too many things wrong, probably doesn't happen to everybody.
Quiet and comfortable
camrajokyon 22/09/2016 04:23Pleasant room with very nice employees. Spent 2 days there and had a very relaxing time. the bonus of having in room refer and microwave helps to save while on the road. the option of breakfast was an added value.
