You get what you pay for?
Autumn Gon 01/08/2017 17:53First and foremost, don't stay here. Sleep in your car, it's probably cleaner.
Let's start with the positives: the beds were comfy, I slept very well. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, although they only have a few options.
The negatives: We were a bachelorette party, yes, but we were never planning on doing anything in the rooms except get ready to go out and sleep. We chose this hotel for the convenience. The worker's there were very quick to make sure we were quiet and there was "no partying." We were insulted because we were never planning on being loud.
This is the biggest negative. Hold on to your hats! We found a USED condom in our room! When the front desk woman came to help us out, she picked up the condom and was more concerned about us possibly being loud later. She did nothing to accommodate us after that. I work in hospitality and am incredibly disappointed by this.
After everything had closed that evening and we headed back to the hotel, we were confronted by a few groups of people saying things like "after party in 220!!" and "hey ladiessss." Now I understand why the front desk people were so concerned about the noise we *might* make.
Overall, we had a bed to sleep in. Was it a gross hotel? Yes. Will I stay there again? Absolutely not. It's convenience is definitely nice, though.
Great place to stay
Waynette Son 12/07/2017 22:25The rooms are clean and everything works. The Continental breakfast has a nice variety to choose from. Plan to stay their in September. A good location, near town, but not too close. Within walking distance of a mall.
Great Staff, Clean Rooms, Highly Recommend
jennakegneron 11/07/2017 17:08I recently stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, and had a wonderful time. The owner couldn't have been more helpful accommodating us. We had to check-in later than anticipated and he made everything so easy. The room was clean, well kept, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The inn was busy but quiet, and in a great location to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The owner even called us after we left to let us know that my husband had left his shirt behind. Great management, great rooms, and an overall great experience.
A truly good value
Margaret and Da... Con 29/05/2017 15:38Excellent value motel, transitioning away from the "Americas Best Value Inn" chain. We were given a senior discount, free coffee at the speciality coffee shop next door, and a clean and newly-renovated room. The manager was very nice and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. He even printed out for us driving instructions to a terrific Indian restaurant across the river in nearby Lewiston.
We will definitely stop here again when we need a place to stay in Auburn.
Great Value
Noreen Fon 05/05/2017 00:36Stayed for 3 nights. Desk staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. The Inn is obviously older but it looks like renovations are being done. I think my only complaint is that there was no hot water on our final morning before checkout and although my husband had no problem with the internet, I was unable to connect with the Wi-Fi. I ended up using AJ Guest (which by the way has great coffee). Room staff did a nice job each day. I would definitely stay there again.
