Lobby locked at night..... DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL !!!!!!!!!!

oghunteron 06/10/2016 20:23My daughter checked in after driving 6 hours from Hurricane Matthew and she could not stay. Bugs in the bed, horrible smell. The owner was nice on the phone and she was grateful to find a room but she had 2 small children and where is the health inspector?

Sonal Pon 29/05/2016 21:14Very reasonable price! It is a nice, lovely motel. Manager is very sweet and welcoming... It's very clean and spacious... I've stayed there many times and their units have recently been renovated...all rooms have flat screen TVs, new carpeting, and appliances.

zamguy2013on 29/11/2015 00:20I was in the area to fish Lake Seminole. Since it was my first time there, I wasn't aware of the "good" places to stay. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THE GOOD PLACES TO STAY! I was there for several days, no room service, nothing for the continental breakfast they advertise, very few channels on cable, WIFI did not work. But, I was there alone and thought what the heck, I can do this. When I was leaving, I tried to check out but the girl at the front desk said I needed to checkout thru the owners and they were at dinner. I said I was leaving very early the next morning and would stop at the office to settle up. I got a receipt for my stay and gave my credit card. I specifically asked the owner guy if the amount was the final and what would be charged to my account. He said it was, but proceeded to add $55 to the bill. I called my credit card company and they credited my account and will charge back the account of this goofy place. If I didn't like you, I still wouldn't recommend this place to stay. Lots of delayed construction on the pool and on areas of the building. I had holes in the walls of my room, but like I said, I was by myself and that stuff wouldn't have mattered if the guy did not try to steal from me. This is the WORST kind of place to stay.

Trish Won 05/08/2015 14:35thought I was staying at bates motel ,pool was covered in tarp black moldy disgusting probably been closed for a long time,sheets heavily stained,i covered my pillow with my t-shirt slept on top of bed covers because it was gross,coffee pot had green slime covering bottom of pot,refrigerator was full of water and mold ,you could only get 4 channels on tv,toilet had been used prior to me renting room cause it was not flushed could not get a refund cause I booked it on line ,claimed they had continental breakfast but at 8 oclock office doors were still locked.i never will stay at a Americas best inn ever ever again
