Traveling through looking forward to going into Sequoia National Park for 2 days but things went south as soon as we got here.

Got here at 10 pm, rang the "door bell" for service, the lady came out and I told her I had reservations for 2 nights, there wasn't a speaker so I could barely hear or understand her. She checked and said that couldn't have made reservations for two nights, I said yes I did, went to the car to grab my confirmation.. she walked back into her living quarters. I had to ring the doorbell again and wait for her to come out. She looked at it and said okay you can in this room tonight, and tomorrow morning come and I will switch you to a new room. I explained we were planning on heading into the national park, she said just take your stuff with you then. I asked if there was a room for both days she said we are completely booked we cant do that. I was a bit peeved at this point and accepted the terms and started going back to my car when she waived me to come back. She said that actually there is a room available for both nights.

This is where things get worse. We lugged our stuff up stairs walked in the room and it was a nightmare, the room was barely furnished, the bed was on a metal bed frame and there was hair on the sheets. There was a computer chair that looked like it was taken from the side of the road, and missing an arm rest. The bathroom counter tops had hair. The shower looked disgusting. It smelled like smoke even though it was suppose to be a nonsmoking room. My boyfriend and I decided we couldn't stay there and gathered our things to go downstairs. When I rang the doorbell told her we wanted a refund, she said she could give us another room-- to my shock because i thought they were fully booked. I said that it smelled like smoke, and I could not stay there. She gave me a full refund..

...but the plot thickens.. because I booked it through bookit.com the hotel reported me as a 'no show' guest so I had to talk to bookit.com's customer service team via email and phone.

An absolutely nightmare, I wish I had pictures to share, but we had to get out of there fast.

Bad experience

Well the door looked like it was about to fall off, first off. Then the curtain was half ripped off the road, exposing our room to the Main Street. There was exposed wired that had been chewed through next to the closet. The bathroom was disgusting, counter was about to break, light switches were hanging off the wall, mold in the shower. The shower knob was barely attached, didn't feel comfortable showering there. Then the bathroom door locked from the outside so we had to figure out how to get it opened again. Very bad experience.

Worst place to stay - stay away

I went there with my family.
This place is old and filthy. It has old furniture and appliances.
Nothing is working there.
Refrigerator was not clean and not working.
Air conditioner was too noisy, even we can't sleep .
Microwave is broken(partly working).
Glass of juice and a piece of bread is what you get for breakfast.
The worst service I have ever experienced.
I would not recommend this hotel!

Hair all over "clean" sheets

Worst place ever. Smelled bad, bathroom door fell off the hinges, dirty sheets (hair), no towels, stains on the walls, broken chair, spit in the corner of the room, mold on tub grout, no continental breakfast (just cold coffee at 8am, coffee is only 7 - 7:30), rude staff insisted the room was clean and the linens were all in the laundry (towels). Disgusting!

Wife found and booked through booking.com costing $80 + but as it said we price match I did a check and found I at half the price elsewhere. After traveling all day we got to the check in and showed the lady at the desk the lower price to which she replied we don't price match and you will have to do that with booking.com. She rudely said you can go down the road and she if you can find somewhere cheaper but as we had been driving since 8.30 that morning the last thing we wanted to do was spend the evening looking for lodging so accepted.

On entering the room we discovered that the bathroom only had 2 towels slightly larger than hand towels so I returned to the office and asked for hand towels and/or a bath mat
to which she replied 2 towels are all you get, we have stayed in $30 motels and had more towels.
