Lakefront, clean rooms, amazing service

Clean, nice, spacious rooms. Good continental breakfast. Can walk out your door to the lake, which is beautiful in the mornings.
Front desk service was excellent. Friendly, quick and easy transaction. We were happier after chatting during check-in than we were walking into the conversation.
Had a non-smoking room, which they take seriously, that had a very slight smell suggesting that maybe it used to be a smoking room.

Nice motel but rude employee with no empathy

Nice and clean renovated motel. Bad "Continental breakfast". Only greasy waffel dough and cereal.

We had a bad experience with a woman employee.
We stayed to 2 nights during a visit to Mount rainier NP. But in day nr. 2 late afternoon we had a minor car crash in our rental car deep down in the Mount Rainier NP. We waited 5 hours for a tow truck to bring us to the nearest city (Enumclaw) where We arrived at 10 pm at Night. The tow truck Company wasnt able to drive us to Seattle to get a new car before the next morning, so we had to stay In Enumclaw for the Night. From there We called Lakeview inn to inform them, that we might be a little late to check out the next day (11 am), which they were completely uncomprehenting about and told us that We had to pay for every extra hour after 11pm.
We drove to seattle as soon as the tow truck Company was ready. We drove through the morning traffic, got a new car and drove back to Centralia, where we arrived 30 MINUTES(!) past check out time, where we was met by a woman completely without empathy or understanding. She told us that our room has been locked because of our late arrival even when We told her our reason.
With dissatifaction she unlocked our Door and gave us 10 minutes to unpack our room and still pay for the extra hour. We wasnt allowed to take a shower (which We hasnt had a chance to have for over 24 hours) unless We payed for another hour!
We got out of the room quickly and then We got to talk to the manager of the hotel. At this point my boyfriend was so furious, so he made a scene. But then the manager told him to calm down and that We didnt had to pay the extra amount - and that the small extra Price wasnt a Big deal for them.
We know it may not be a whole lot extra to pay, But after the day/night We have had - already with extra car and hotel costs - We didnt need anymore problems and We would have liked just A BIT more understanding from the hotel.

This was a convenient motel for a local large family gathering so we engaged it for 3 nights. It was clean, but seemed a little musty from previous year smokers, although no smoking is now allowed. There was a TV, hair dryer and the rates were economical, which can mean that there are a lot of families with numerous children. It was, however, relatively quiet at night. The breakfast or "continental breakfast" needs serious improvement because there was no real juice just some concentrate colored water with lots of sugar. The cereals were also sugary, and there could have been a better selection of fresh fruit other than small Delicious type apples. There was also no decaffeinated coffee.Just a few improvements in the nutrition of what was being offered it could be an OK overnight place. Freshly made juice from low sugar concentrate, a better selection of seasonal fruits, would be a great improvement. Not all of us like sugary foods and beverages. and most certainly there should have been a decent quality decaffeinated coffee offered.

Small, but Clean & Friendly

This motel is located right on the lake, with every room having a lakeview (thus the name). We enjoyed watching the fish & birdlife in/by the lake. This motel is economical but great value & the staff was very friendly. We would stay here again.

Clean, and there is really a lake view on a small lake behind the hotel. I-5 is close, but the noise did not bother me - windows are tight enough. The only eatery in the area is Subway, you have to drive someplace else if that is not your choice. Liked powerful forced air fan in bathroom - turn it on, and bathroom is instantly warm. Pillows could be better, mine appeared quite flat. Breakfast is very basic - coffee, instant oatmeal, milk, jam, bread, waffles.
