The rooms are wonderful (I've now stayed here 3 times this and last year), wake-up calls, for morning coffee along with a few tasty morning tid-bits...and with a perfect location off I-5 and sort of between both Avenal SP and Pleasant Valley SP (where I was working) !!

I felt the need to write a review because our room exceeded my expectations based on the other reviews found here. Our room was clean and freshly painted. There were no smells upon entering the room and it was warm on a cold night. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fine, and the breakfast was a traditional continental breakfast. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Decided to stop halfway from Orange County to San Francisco because I had to be at my daughter's graduation earlier than I would normally get there driving straight through. From the reviews, this looked like a passable option. I got there about 10 p.m. and it was very basic. Reception could not find my reservation, but there was room anyway. The bed was so hard I couldn't sleep and that was the only reason I stopped there. I took the pillows and lined them up and tried to sleep on them, but they were pretty hard and lumpy too. It really was disappointing. To the place's credit, they had a refrigerator in the room which I didn't need. There were no extra electrical outlets anywhere for charging. Breakfast was not appetizing.

We stayed here on our motorcycle trip from Ky to California and I must say it was a major disappointment. The rooms were dirty and the breakfast was awful. The staff was super friendly though. You get what you pay for though. Wouldn't stay there again though

Roach infested and run down.

This place is disgusting. The room is dirty the floor is lumpy the sheets had stuff on them. I found a giant roach right next to the bed just staring up at me. The night stand had some kind of water damage. The table had scorch marks. STAY AWAY! Not worth your money.
