Was easy to find from highway. Great location with ample parking. Near several restaurant and fast food selections, as well as 24-hour drug store. Just 20-30 minutes to downtown St. Louis. Clean, well appointed rooms with some signs of wear but included a desk, as well as small table with two chairs and very comfortable queen beds. Large breakfast area with many tables.

The hotel staff very friendly. We stayed on the 3rd floor, although every door on our floor had a no smoking sign, as soon as you stepped off the elevator onto the floor you could smell cigarette smoke.

Poor management and customer service

I booked this hotel through a third party weeks in advance of my stay. I then found a more suitable hotel for my needs and canceled well before the cancelation window. The hotel stated they didn't receive the cancelation and charged both nights to my account. After speaking with the third party booking site and the hotel directly, the hotel refused to refund my account and was very disrespectful. I would NOT recommend booking this hotel and would NOT trust them with your account information.

A real dive

We called and were promised that there was a "smoke free" room available. This was a lie! We were shown 2 different rooms; both smelled of cigarettes and actually had cigarette burns in both the bedspreads and sheets. Building looked in poor condition. We opted to drive on to Columbia rather than stay in this nasty place...

Hotel is in a highly convenient location to historic St. Charles and other retail shopping. While I did not go to the casinos, the hotel is convenient to them also. Close to the convention center and Lindenwood U. Very clean. I asked to modify my reservation and Lisa at the front desk made that happen and beat the online price. Recommend!
