Just passing through
Jodi Bon 24/05/2017 23:40I would give 3.5 stars if I could. Check-in was fast and efficient. We were excited that they had rooms with 3 beds (same cost as 2 beds, too!). Room was very basic, but very clean and well stocked with everything you expect -- microwave, fridge with separate freezer, shampoo, soap, etc. Our biggest complaint was that the room was sweltering when we arrived. We opened the window (2nd floor, no screen, no lock - scary!) initially, as it was cool and pleasant outside, then turned on the air conditioning, but it took hours to cool it down. They offered pastries and coffee for breakfast; the gentleman at check-in said they were waiting on permits to offer a full breakfast. Check-out was again quick and efficient. Good for a one-night stopover, but wouldn't want to stay longer.
Just overnight
patsavanton 23/05/2017 18:23Cheap and clean. Only about $55
Rooms were clean and furnished in typical motel mode. No breakfast there though. No problem getting a room. Just a clean soft bed and fluffy towers in the bathroom
Staff was friendly and efficient
A great value compared to other hotels in town
kp20162on 30/04/2017 01:49The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and sheets and towels are high quality. The staff are outstanding and worked to get our group of 16 the lowest rates possible. They have rooms with 2 and 3 queen beds which was great for our 14 high school students. They have coffee, tea, fruit, and packaged mini-muffins available in the morning and the tables in the lobby area are great for working or gathering a group to eat or socialize. The accommodations are on par with the hotels nearby but are about half the price. I was a little concerned about noise but it was actually very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
Small but great
Jake Lon 29/04/2017 16:02Rooms are small but clean and the window seat was neat. Bathrooms were also clean and the shower worked great. Unfortunately, as with many hotels on a highway, the traffic sound can be obnoxious. Overall great experience and great staff.
Good room for the Money
outofsockson 16/04/2017 21:53We chose a budget hotel for our night in Fallon, and the Rodeway worked well. We were concerned that our room (102) would be noisy all night, but this was not the case. If you are concerned about noise, then ask for a room far from the street. Room, although small, was clean, and was satisfactory. We could see that they were working to renew their breakfast room. The recommendation for an evening restaurant was great. Receptionist was friendly and helpful.
Price for the room was about $60 less than the Best Western, which is about 10 feet away from the Rodeway Inn.
