Updated Public Areas
Ksackon 13/07/2017 04:03My family stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and then most recently July of this year. Since our last stay the public areas like the front desk, and breakfast areas have been updated.
The new breakfast area is very nice and the food was plentiful.
As for the rooms these are in need of some serious updating. While they were kept clean and made up the mattress was pretty thin and didn't do a thing for our backs. Also the carpeting could really stand to be updated. We also had to skim the pool to remove the bugs so our kids could swim in it.
With all of that said the staff was very nice and courteous.
Sheridan Has Little To Offer in Hotels
jdssr2016on 15/06/2017 13:54When googling, we only found two hotels in Sheridan, and this is the better of the two. Requested a NO SMOKING room. The first room assigned to us was so smokey, it almost knocked you down when entering. The clerk told us they had deodorized it that morning, but you could not not prove it by me. She reassigned us another room which was just fine. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but the 2 bath towels were a little small and thin for an adult to dry on. The waffle was the only item of the hot breakfast fare suitable to eat. No fruit..

Donna Don 31/05/2017 16:28We stayed here one night while visiting relatives. The motel is located on one of the the main highways through town so there was a lot of noise from big trucks coming through before daylight. If possible, do not stay in a room facing the highway. Also, it is at the intersection across from a school so there is traffic in the morning and afternoon.
The room could have been cleaner. The furniture had been dusted and there was a slimy residue left behind like from using too much furniture polish. The washcloths were dingy (see picture). Motel staff could have been friendlier- no smile, no asking how was your stay. The people staying in the room next to us were noisy and were outside running up and down in front of our room before we were awake. I realize that's not the motel's fault but it contributed to us only getting about 2 hours sleep the entire night. (Picture compares washcloth to Kleenex and a white towel.)
The place to stay if you must stay in Sheridan
stinkerpotmomon 28/05/2017 18:57I was not excited about staying in Sheridan, but this place exceeded my expectations. This is not a Hampton Inn, with its soft sheets and plush bedding, but it wasn't something to be afraid of either. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had cable, a fridge/microwave, and clean towels. The front desk was friendly and even started the waffle iron and drink machine up after it has been closed for breakfast hours. That was very nice of them. The motel grounds were neat and clean, and the boys enjoyed the outdoor pool.
When your kids play ball, sometimes you stay in places that don't have many options. You don't have to worry if you need to stay in Sheridan. This place was just fine for the money.
Good Within Limited Choices
Ron Aon 05/05/2017 14:03The motel is an average place to stay. it is not bad nor is it great. For example the rooms have regular beds not new firm types and the bath towels are small but the TV is good and the breakfast is good. So overall--not a bad place to stay.
