Great beds and linens

At least 1,000 times, I've had the misfortune of driving across Tennessee from Little Rock, the 650-mile wide swath of misery which is god's prank on people who have family in NC. A couple of weeks ago, I didn't it again. Desperate to to collapse with no frills and thought, I thought, what the hey, this place is super cheap, I'll stop and end this day's I-40, 99-degree hell-fire and tribulation.

Talk about surprised. The double room was clean, the crisp white comforters and sheets on terrific beds were a serendipity.. The bathroom was nothing to write home about, but if you're looking for a clean room with terrific beds and linens, stop here.

Not worth the money

Tiny room. Moldy bathrooms. Hair dryer didn't work. Toilet wouldn't quit running. Air conditioner was inadequate. Took 10 minutes to find my reservation. Lobby was hot and uncomfortable. Location was excellent for where I wanted to be.

New management is really an improvement.

Service and cleanliness has improved with new management. They are adding a fridge and microwave to rooms. Very good desk service. I will stay here on a regular basis again. Seems much safer then other hotels here in Jackson.

Filthy just keep on driving

This was the nastiest hotel I have ever been in. We got a non-smoking room that smell like a Dirty Ashtray. The bed looked like it had not been changed from the previous guests there was a huge black mark in the middle of the bed with hair on the pillows and the bedspreads and the sheets. The mattress pad had a huge pee stain on it that went through to the mattress. There were black hairs all over the bathroom countertops the bathroom sink would not drain. We slept on top of the covers and only stayed for 4 hours so that I could complete the drive home without falling asleep at the wheel. Had I not already driven 19 hours I would have demanded my money back and completed my trip but I was too tired to do so. We left by 6 a.m. and there was no continental breakfast even though it says that it's offered there was no one at the front desk to check us out so we left the key card on the counter.

Dirty, smelly

Bathroom had leaky moldy toilet and wall, a/c unit was old and inefficient with knobs missing, and there were visable stains on carpet and all chairs and upholstery. Spend $30 more bucks and get a better nights sleep.
