Richard Don 28/07/2017 22:29We booked this room 1 month ahead of time. When we got there it WAS NOT SOLD OUT, they gave us the worst room. (by nite the hotel was full.) We were in the corner-1 window overlooking the stairway. It was like we were in a dark cave. No breakfast, room very old fashioned-needs decorating. For the amount of money for rooms in Colorado that we stayed at, this was the worst. One place we stayed in Estes Park for 2 nites was SO MUCH BETTER than this one.
Nice stay at Grand Lake
denver60on 18/07/2017 22:52We stayed 2 nights at the Grand Lake Bighorn Lodge. The location is convenient at the end of Main Street. Basic amenities, room was small, clean and quiet. Expensive at the height of the tourist season on Grand Lake but a good value for the location at this time of the year.

We could not find a room within 100 miles, so we jumped at this even though it was $215 for a basic room. Supply and demand. We loved Grand Lake and highly recommend it for your summer vacation. This is a small mom and pop motel. Clean, nice but small room. Very quiet. Limited parking. Our only advice is to avoid room #25. It had a very strong odor that had me looking under the furniture for something amiss. After a few minutes in the room it was not noticeable, but every time you re-entered it hit you again. Notice: check out is 10:00 am.

Candi Mon 14/07/2017 18:47We were on a motorcycle trip and made the reservations several months prior. It was very clean. There was a ceiling fan in the room-which I like!! It had a microwave, small refrigerator and best of all-coffee in the room. It did not offer breakfast-which was a bummer.

Islandtime32on 06/07/2017 18:48This was a good last minute place to stay with a convenient location. Room was clean and quiet. Rate was reasonable and receptionist friendly. Easy access in and out of town before driving through Rocky Mountain park.
