ok
gregnlouon 23/07/2017 04:28Budget hotel, not as fresh as the picture show. Room was ok for just one evening slept fine. Does not offer breakfast but is located just of of interstate which was fine as long as your window is closed. Ok stay for the price but there are other hotels in town which is better location for around same price. Refrigerator in room but was unplugged so would take quite a while to cool. Have stayed at America's Best before but this one is a little below average.
Quiet hotel with easy access to interstate.
MichelleSchillingon 06/12/2016 17:55Traveled to laramie for a weekend in early December. The Wyoming Cowboys football team just happened to have a football championship game that Saturday and all the hotels sold out. I usually stay at the Americinn in laramie. There were no rooms available there or the holiday inn and other places like the comfort inn wanted $200 a night for two double beds. I found this hotel for $60 a night with a king bed. So I didn't expect much for that price. However I was very pleased with the hotel staff checking us in. I was worried being so close to the interstate that I would hear the traffic noise but I didn't. I slept very well both nights. The showers had plenty of hot water and water pressure. The electric heat in the room kept me warm all night. The hotel was sold out on Saturday night but I never heard other guests coming or going. My husband enjoyed the actual recliner chair for tv watching. It's a small flatscreen but lots of channels.
So there's no continental breakfast and there's no pool or hot tub. But for $60 a night I have found my new go to hotel when staying in laramie.
Inexpensive basics
geotraveler4on 10/10/2016 09:41Friendly couple runs it, convenient stop off Interstate and Snowy Range Road on west end of town, clean linens and bath but carpet and chairs questionable, bed was firm and fine, plenty of cable channels on TV, just a coffee maker in room for breakfast, close to Subway and McDonald's, much cheaper than other accommodations in town.
Not disabled friendly
janelle hon 28/09/2016 02:15Shower was very noisy, almost deafening. Towels were small, dingy and thin. Air conditioner quit working, turned it on 'fan' and then that quit too in the middle of the night. Carpets were dirty. Split level entry so not handicapped accessible at all, rooms were either on the lower or upper level. No microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. Had to use the microwave near the laundry area that quit working also. Had one in conference room we could use. No breakfast available. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were overly large and hard. We used the laundry but it took forever to dry 2 loads of clothes. Older motel that needs lots of updating. We have stayed at other America's Best Values, they are hit or miss. WIFI worked okay. Older couple running it and very hard to understand.
Sleepless
Tom Zon 27/09/2016 04:44The hotel looked nice and was clean, everything worked in the room. However, the bed was like sleeping on a box spring. Worst Bed I have ever had in any hotel world wide. I think the floor might have been a better place to sleep.
